Nice place to go for drinks or light snacks

Four of us went here for "afternoon tea" and found we were the only customers there at 4pm. The atmosphere is nice, very "Fortunate Coffee". The food menu is small, maybe only 5 or 6 things to choose from. The drinks menu is much bigger. The food and drinks we ordered were all tasty and the single person working was very polite and helpful. There is an upstairs with more seating and the bathroom.

The only small problem was that she was the only person working, so it took awhile for all of our order to come out...I can't imagine how difficult it would be for her if there were even more customers.
Food:
- black pepper burger: I thought the black pepper was a little strong, but my wife thought it was fine
- popcorn chicken: good but needs a sauce with it
- sourdough bread plate: good bread, several pieces
- waffle: really good
- sandwich: everyone's favorite

Pros: Food and drinks were good, nice atmosphere, server was kind and helpful

Cons: Needs more than 1 person working

Nice and cozy place to rest

You could tell how they care about our planet by seeing theres no tissue for drying hands but they offer the reusable napkins as a alternative.

Place is huge so every customer could really enjoy their privacy talking and rest.

Vegan bread near FCU

It’s really quite the challenge to find vegan bread in Taiwan: butter, milk, eggs, honey, and even milk powder is often used. But at Fortunate Coffee, I can rest assured that what I’m getting is a clean bread. They are currently baking on Wednesdays and selling for the week starting on Thursdays. I got the coffee and chocolate bread (NT$60), which was the perfect size for someone living on her own. The staff recommended that after I got home, slice and freeze it to stop the bread from continuing to ferment. Reheating it was as simple as taking out a slice from the freezer and toasting it for a few minutes. I enjoyed each slice with a nut butter and some cacao nibs. Looking forward to trying their other breads!

Pros: Vegan bread, Sweet staff

Cons: Doesn’t open until noon, Limited bread supply

Perfection

I came here one night, on the hunt for pure vegan food and that's what I got. Freshly made bread, juice and pasta, all delivered with a friendly smile and excellent service. I can't recommend enough
