Fantastic Spot - Edit
We wanted some beers and decided to split a Vegan Nashville Chicken sandwich. The staff were great, giving us an extra plate to split or food.
Read moreThe “chicken” fingers were delightfully spicy and the fries came with a nice spicy seasoning.
We had so me Jumpscare pumpkin stout with our meal, perfect. I am delighted to find a new spot on the coast with a good vegan option to have with a beer.
Next time I will also check out the vegan pizza options, looking forward to it!
Pros: Nice portion size, Flavorful , Outstanding Staff
Cons: Limited Options

Excellent quality & accommodating - Edit
I visited here today while passing through to Washington. I was so excited to see a fully vegan meal of substance that I ordered it: Nashville hot chicken sandwich with fries. I was worried it would be too spicy and thought about asking for the meal but with their regular vegan chicken, not spicy. I didn’t want to be a pain in the you-know-what, so I just ordered it. Well, it was way too heckin’ spicy. I thought I was gonna die. My boyfriend asked if we could get the regular vegan chicken (we were willing to pay for it) to swap out. The kitchen offered to remake my entire meal. I was floored. Their vegan chicken is probably the best I have ever had. Literally incredible and well breaded. If you don’t like spicy that burns your tongue off, go with the regular vegan chicken though. Had a flight of stouts that were absolutely incredible too.

A fabulous evening - Edit
What a fabulous evening I had when I decided to have dinner at Fort George! Not only was I treated to a delicious Nashville ‘Chicken’ burger (fries included, all vegan), there was live music - and it was AWESOME! Thank you, Fort George for valuing and investing in so many of the things I love! 😍

Fort George took the ‘Isotope’ vegan sandwich off the menu and replaced it with the vegan Nashville hot chicken. It is sooo good and one of the best meals I’ve had.

Solid pub grub with some vegan cheese for pizzas, and a vegan chicken sandwich. They do charge $5 to use vegan cheese which is a bummer. Good dough on the pizza.

Beer is better than the food - Edit
I went here with my dad as he is a huge beer guy, and not even close to vegan, so we had a couple beers and dinner. I got the Vegan Nashville Chicken, it was nothing special but overall not bad. I do love their beer selection though, and it looks like they have cool community events some nights.

Delish and great views - Edit
Only one true vegan option for the pizza, but it's a good one. Had the Level 4 with yuzu hop water and the Scatter Plot beer. Perfect meal for 2 people. Will definitely be back next time we're in town. Prices are reasonable.

Good pizza - Edit
I love a wood fired pizza, so no complaints here! The pizza was very good. The only thing that could have made it better was if they had more vegan options. That being said, you could substitute vegan cheese on any of the vegetarian pizzas.

Cold Food - Edit
On April 21, 2024 I dined here. I ordered the only vegan entree option that they had, the isotope. It was served with fries, but both the isotope burger and the fries were not hot. They were at room temperature. It's almost as if everything is made ahead of time and then they just serve it up on a platter when someone orders it. I also had a salad which was delicious and a nice compliment to the Burger.
Read moreYou order at the counter and then someone brings the food to you at your table. Service is just okay. No one comes to your table to check on you or to see how you're doing with your food. However, the staff is very friendly.
This establishment was close to where we were staying in Astoria and was convenient for us. When I'm in Astoria next time, I will try another place to eat.
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Cold food, Poor service

The view from the balcony where we got pizza was really nice around sunset ! The pizza was pretty good, but not my favorite. Overall would definitely come again, but maybe try the vegan sandwich.

Good beer, ok pizza - Edit
Good beer selection. The vegan pizza was just ok in my opinion. Putting Tabasco on the pizza took it from ok to decent, and it was pretty good cold the next morning.
Read moreChips and salsa were average. The view on the balcony was awesome and everyone was really friendly and welcoming so I do definitely recommend it, especially considering the lack of vegan restaurants in Astoria.

We had the vegan pizza. The pepperoni and crust were good and the rooftop patio is very cool to see the views of the Columbia River.

Great vegan chick’n burger - Edit
I have been to FGB a couple times and my favorite vegan item is the chick’n burger with the chipotle aioli. I had the vegan pizza as well (upstairs only) and it was too dry for me, helped to order a side of extra tomato sauce to dip it.

Have had FG pizza before becoming vegan, one of the best vegetarian pizzas I have had, but definitely the best vegan pizza around. Other vegan options as well, and great staff!

Brewery with a “chicken” burger and a pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. Had the pizza, dough was very tasty and loved the pepperoni, mushrooms were supposed to be “wild” ones but I doubt it. Super friendly staff, good drinks!

A favorite place - Edit
I am a little torn with the rating. Fort George has been a favorite place of ours for beer for some years. I feel like the food menu may have had more good options a couple of years ago. We did have the pizza with spinach with added veg. Pepperoni and veg. Cheese. It was good enough. I still recommend coming here if you like beer at all. The people who work here have always been great and the tap list is great too.

The title stands for Best Pizza Of My Life. I didn't have expectations when coming here. I saw the reviews and was like "sure". But when we got our vegan pepperoni pizza....wow. First, it looks good. Like I ain't never seen no pizza look that good. Second the smell. Damn I think that's homemade seitan pepperoni. Third, the taste was all there. The crust, sauce, vegan cheese, and topped with vegan pepperoni was so good. Will come here everytime to eat this when in the area.

My favorite pizza in the area! - Edit
The vegan pepperoni won me over. There is also vegan cheese if that’s your thing. Lots of veggies to choose from and a few sauce options for us. Also, there is a great sandwich with vegan meats and cheeses that I like to order.

Contactless pickup and the absolute best vegan pizza I've ever had! Vegan cheese substitution is free, and the vegan pepperoni is delicious. While some Astoria places have dropped vegan food during the pandemic, this place keeps us fed and happy.

Most recent pizza wasn't as good. Topping were sparse and they changed the vegan pepperoni. Leaving the 4 stars for now, will update if next pie doesn't hold up.
