Nice food, nice staff - Edit

We went there a little to late for breakfast, but they make it possible. Scrambled „eggs“, pancakes and avocado bread. Everything was fine! We really recommend this place!

Lovely little bistro - Edit

This was an amazing find. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a very relaxed and open feel. We went on our last night in Prague as we wanted something a little fancier than the other cafes we had been to. We had 3 course and all the food was delicious. Mushroom pate and vegan cheese platter to start which was insane, the cheeses were so creamy. And then a vegetable curry for main which tasted exactly like a Thai yellow curry and udon noodles with hoisin sauce and vegetables. For dessert we had chocolate cake with raspberry cream which amazingly light and airy and we couldn’t believe the cream was vegan (it was we checked). Such amazing value for money and probably the best vegan food we had whilst in Prague (and there is a lot to choose from). Highly recommended!

Outstanding food - Edit

It seems we saved the best for last by going to Forrest Bistro before heading back home to Vienna.
First off: the atmosphere was way cosier than it looks on the pictures.
Unfortunately, there is no english menu yet, since they'd just changed it but the waitress was super friendly and translated everything for us.
We chose two starters: the cheese platter and the oyster mushroom paté, both of which were not only delicious but also beautifully plated.
Then we had the daily special, tomato sauce with seitan steaks and bread dumplings and the pita burger. And of course, because we just couldn't help it, we had to have cake as dessert. Peanut butter cheesecake and carrot cake, which were both freshly made during our visit.
We've tried a bunch of vegan restaurants in Prague over the years but this one definitely wins.

Pros: amazing food, super friendly staff, decent prices

Cons: no english menu (yet)

Room for improvement - Edit

Very nice new bistro that replaced Loving Hut at this address. Staff very friendly, pleasant atmosphere. We had a special offer which was BBQ platter with variety of BBQ style food and it was great. Then we had burger and sweet baked potatoes filled with some mexican style beans. Burger was (to my taste) a little uncooked and tiny bit more seasoning for the bean-based filling wouldn't hurt it either. Main taste of the burger was from few slices of smoked tempeh. It is served in kind of a pita bread with ton of plain soyannaise. I think there is a big potential in this place, so I hope I can top up my review after next visit.

Pros: All vegan, Friendly staff

Cons: Food needs few more improvements

Good vegan food - Edit

The menu was a bit limited, you could only order 2 different items at lunch time off a changing specials board. The food we had was all really good and tasty, prices were fair for the food as well. As a travelling vegan we were really happy to have this place close to our hotel, it's near a good healthfood store with lots of vegan treats, milks, cereals etc too.

Pros: yummy, well priced

Cons: limited lunch menu

Nice new spot - Edit

This is a nice, spacious restaurant with really helpful and friendly staff. And there's even free tap water on the tables! From the evening menu I've tried the burger, which was huge and beany, very enjoyable. The wedges weren't great though. And from the breakfast menu I had the pandan pancakes, which were amazing! They came with loads of fresh fruit and cream. Not all of the breakfast options were available when we visited, which was a shame.

amazing! - Edit

I had the daily menu which is a starter and main that changes daily. Laksa soup and Nasi Goreng and they were beautiful. Fresh, tasty and full of flavour. I couldn’t help myself and also got a piece of pistachio cake - yum.
Restaurant is clean and minimalistic. They also do takeaway.

Great vegan options, lunch & dinner specials - Edit

Very tasty, I enjoyed the pancake breakfast as well as their set lunch menu. The week I visited it seemed to be Central / Latin American themed dishes for the set lunch menus. Different set dinner menu from lunch. Solid wifi, nice and quiet, the cakes looked amazing!

I visited the bistro twice - first I hade very delicious sauerkraut soup and this time I tried veggie-balls in tomato souce with rice and it was amazing and also soy meat with noodles which did not amazed me but still good (each were from the daily menu for 135 CZK). The coffee and wine was exraordinary. And the interior is in my favourite turquoise color:)
