Formosa Vegetarian Eating House

So impressed with Formosa, so many places struggle to adequately season vegetarian and vegan dishes but these guys are fantastic! Casual dining with self ordering (huge plus as numbered items eliminate any lost in translation issues) and self service from the cutlery, crockery and tea station. Review below re: tea didn't apply when we visited, it was your standard delicious jasmine tea. Honey 'chicken' was amazing, so much better than any meat version I've had in terms of flavour, texture and batter. Sauce on satay 'beef' was delicious but not enough for the amount of 'meat'. Generally very impressed with food, though the prices aren't all that cheap and the decor is akin to a food court, the taste is really worth it. We. look forward to making this a regular family haunt.

Vegan options are amazing!! I recommend the salted fried chicken!!

they give you some tea that smells like frangipani whether you want it or not and it's really disgusting. Don't eat the mock meat, it's kind of rubbery and dry. The fried rice and chips are good though and i took home the rest of my rice as it was lovely but i was full.
