Cute little place - Edit
Had a mango salad and eggplant curry which were both good, maybe not the most flavourful we’ve had in Thailand, but yummy, fresh and pretty cheap.

Nice food, but small portions - Edit
We were pleasantly surprised that we can get traditional Burmese tea leaf salad here which is our favorite. The food was tasty, the portions rather small however. We really enjoyed the pumpkin curry, the salad's taste was a bit different than what we are used to (peanuts not toasted enough, a bit too sour and not that spicy). Overall good experience but also a bit pricey considering the main dishes is like 1 scoop of food 😕. #Veganuary

fresh and tasty home style Burmese food - Edit
We stayed at the nearby Pitiusas resort for 9 days and ended up eating at Forever restaurant twice or even three times every day. The food was fresh, tasty, varied and reasonably priced. Most mains come with rice, so end up being more satisfying than you might think.
Read moreThe service was lovely, the family is very friendly and eager to please.
The many Burmese style salads were delicious (remember to ask for “no fish sauce”) and some of the simplest mains were the most tasty, particularly the tofu curry and the potato curry.
Vegans and those with other dietary requirements need to be clear when ordering (eg. “no milk”, “no egg”, “no fish sauce”) as several of the vegetarian dishes contain egg by default, and many of the salads are seasoned with fish sauce by default, but we didn’t have any issues if we were clear when we ordered.
Note: directions to find the restaurant are given in the previous review.
Pros: tasty, healthy , reasonably priced
Cons: language barrier / misunderstandings

Excellent Burmese food - Edit
We went to this restaurant twice during our 5-day stay in Koh Adang. The restaurant is located a 5 min walk from the west end of Pattaya beach (take the small road going uphill in between Chareena Beach Resort and the dive shop, and take left on the main road). Although this restaurant serves meat, vegetarian dishes are prominently highlighted and are the only ones depicted in pictures on the wall. The owner couple prepare all dishes from scratch, so the food takes half an hour to prepare, but the result is amazing. Their fermented mustard dish was the best dish we had in a year. The potato curry and the aubergine curry were both delicious and tasted quite different. The pumpkin soup looked boring but was intensely flavorful and absolutely delicious. Overall, a really authentic and delicious Burmese restaurant.
