Amazing place - Edit
Stayed here 3 nights as part of a group tour. They have quite a large vegan menu and everything is made from scratch and Veganism is VERY new to the country so they don’t have the vegan substitutes available in the west or east. Everyone is super nice, super welcoming and friendly, and the food is O.M.G. Delicious. They have veganized quite a few of traditional Bhutanese national dishes so the food is authentic too.

Try the butter tea! It’s… authentic but… not what you’d expect. Also, try all the dachi dishes. They’re delicious, authentic, and super popular on Bhutan.

Delicious Food on Vegan Menu - Edit
Forest Boutique is in a picturesque setting with great food. I was traveling with a VegVoyages group of six for three days. Everything was delicious. Pictured is mango chia pudding. The vegan chai was a highlight, as were dumplings.

Separate menu for vegan food, including options with vegan cheese that are not available anywhere else. The food was absolutely delicious and I’m so glad we went there. Will definitely go back next time I’m in Bhutan. 100% recommend! #Veganuary

Great service, clean spaces, super friendly and helpful staff and delicious vegan food! In their restaurant, you will find a dedicated vegan menu, with plenty of delicious options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as all day snacks and beverages. All their vegan food is homemade and organic, made of love. I highly recommend this place!
