For Friends

They offer three delicious sandwiches: TBLT, Humus supreme and Moxarella and a "cheese" leek soup. (gluen-free) They also offer one BBQ burger and potatoe wedges with four kinds of dip you can choose from: Humus, BBQ, Mayonnaise, yoghurt-herbal. If you would like to have a salad, they have got a mixed one with two types of dressing: lemon-maple sirup or yoghurt-herbal. You can decide between two sizes: small and large or just a side salad (coleslaw or green salad) to your main dish.

The breakfast (only on saturday and sunday 10am-2pm) is very delicious too, especially the "Kicherndes omlette", (germ. expression: "smiling omlette") which raises a smile in your face.

Last but not least you can choose your dessert at the counter, because they have got a varying offer of dessert, for example something like a huge bounty, a huge cookie (gluten-free), a "peanutcrunch" etc.

The food is very delicious, homemade and full-vegan. Almost all of the food is organic and, if possible, grown by regional farmers.

Two more things you need to know about "For Friends":

1. All the drinks (alcoholic or non - alcoholic) are organic or fair trade.
2. 100% recycable packaging is used for takeaway orders. (pickup only!)

I never ate a vegan meal before . A friend is living full-vegan and wanted to eat at "vegan for friends". Because of her, I ate my first vegan meal and I could not imagine another bistro for making a vegan experience as this one.

The interior equipment is very light, and quiet simply. It makes a relaxed atmosphere , a bit like the kitchen in a student home. Relaxed and not too much decoration .

I tasted the "Humus supreme" sandwich and it was a dream of taste ! The salad and vegetables were fresh and the sandwich had a lot of them on it.

It was quiet nutritius and the price was cheap too. Also students who are living vegan , now have a opportunity to eat a vegan meal ,when they are on the road. The two owners of it are very friendly and while you are waiting for your delicious lunch, they answer to every question you have about vegan food. The most important thing: they are always in a good mood and smiling ! :)

Last time I had a "moxarella sandwich" and a "TBLT sandwich" - same like the humus supreme, very delicious and nutritrious . After my very tasty , first vegan experiece , I sometimes get my lunch at "Vegan for friends" .

Hier ist für jeden was dabei. Die Auswahl auf der Karte reicht von Salat über Suppe bis hin zu hausgemachten Wedges, verschiedenen Burgern und Sandwiches sowie einer gesonderten Frühstückskarte samstags und sonntags von 10-14 Uhr.
