Serves meat, vegan options available. Zero waste cafe which upcycles surplus and locally grown ingredients to create ethical meals. Lunch is served from 12-2pm with a daily changing menu of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free dishes. Can also call in for a coffee or cake to take-away, collect a patron box, pick up a market box and buy just meals. Meals, coffee and boxes are all available on a pay what you can afford basis with a minimum contribution of £1.00. Wheelchair accessible venue. Open Mon-Fri 09:00-15:00. Closed Sat-Sun.

Brilliant initiative

Food Works Sharrow is such a brilliant addition to the area. It's volunteer run and uses food that would otherwise go to landfill. They make fresh food daily and always have one vegan option, they add the days menu to their social media so you can have a look what's on. Allergies are clearly labelled and the food is always flavourful and portions are generous. It's £1 per meal but you can pay more, if you can afford to.

Pros: Community oriented, At least one vegan option, Lovely staff

Cons: If you're very picky, it might be difficult
