I love their potato salad - Edit
Seems like they don't run the market van any more. Haven't seen them for months.

Just not on Blücher anymore, I guess!
The potatoe salad is a charm, try it! The cakes are mostly tasty but sometimes much too sweet (Karies!).
The grillable soja chunks are ok, but too oily for my taste.

xinmyheadx 22 Jan 2016 - Actually, we don't go to the market in the winter months anymore but we were there until Christmas - so we have been "away" for a few weeks, not months! However, we just opened an all-vegan Café called "Café Blattgold" at the Holtenauer Straße 176.

I have been on Blücherplatz nearly every week but I didn't see your truck anywhere. :( On HC it says wednesday and saturday, these are the market days on exer. Aren't you on Blücher anymore? In your HC description it also says Blücher.
I've read about Café Blattgold in December and have read the article on Küstenmerle. I'm not so much into this chic "Holtenauer"-thing, and gold sounds too cleaned up and expensive for me. But maybe I'll try it anyway but definitely prefer your foodtruck! :)

Must go in Kiel! - Edit
This lovely market cart is a very nice place to enjoy a "brötchen" (small sandwich) with vegan meat salad, potato salad, cakes and coffee or tea. The whole market itself is very nice and when the weather is good it's a real pleasure sitting at the tables that the guys of Food of today provide to their customers.
You can find the best vegan meat that I have ever tried. They marinate it with herbs and sauces and it's delicious. They also have nice salads with mayo, sausages, meat balls, and other stuff that would make you believe that you are in a small butchery. In addition, they have a nice offer of cakes, cookies, chocolates bars and you can even order a birthday cake, as I did for my wife's birthday.
The guys running the business are very friendly and proud vegan!
I really recommend Food of today.

amazing spreads! - Edit
This food cart is definately worth a visit! We went two times when we visited Kiel, and ate breadrolls with different home made spreads: fleichsalat, soft cheese/quark and a german savory ham/pate spread (i think it was called mett). All were absolutely delicous. We also tried their cakes; a lemon cake and a victoria sponge with whipped cream; both good and fresh. I also had a soy macchiato that was the best! The german couple (we think...) that seved us were very nice, and the guy told us he started after meeting and getting inspired by Ray Cappo!
