Organization whose fundamental principle is: society needs to promote life, not death. Volunteers cook and serve free vegan meals. Donations welcomed. Usually cooks every Wednesday but call to check beforehand. Open Wed 4:00pm-8:00pm.

saved from grocery stores around taksim, vegetables are cooked in easiest but not blandest way. they are usually spicy and juicy. staples of menu are oven roasted vegetables (carrot, aubergine, zucchini, potato) with curry sauce, spinach stew, rice stuffed pepper (biber dolmasi) and salad (tomato, lettuce, green pepper). pasta and lentil often accompany those staples.
Pros: vegan food, not-bought not-sold, people from political scene&neighborhood, gay friendly, trans friendly
Cons: no sitting place, eaten outside, street, some dishes might be too hot
