Amazing vegan pizza and pasta - Edit
Possibly the best pizzas we have ever had. We had a vegan "The Lot" and a vegan "Hawaiian." Neither pizza was on the menu. Both pizzas had vegan cheese (amazing buffalo style) and vegan bacon. They usually have vegan salami but had none left when we visited. We also tried a vegan pasta that had the most amazing tomato sauce. The staff are very friendly, and they are extremely accommodating.

Great Vegan Pizza - Edit
Visited today and had vegan garlic bread and vegan pizza. Good selection of vegetables on the pizza. Really great tasting meal. We sat outside with dogs and the lovely guy serving us brought out treats for the dogs too. Will definitely visit again when next in Robe.

Deserves 5 stars! - Edit
We walked past Food Lab in Robe and the pizza menu grasped our attention rapidly, we stopped in for a vegan/ GF pizza and it would have to be one of the best we’ve had! The cheese was melted, the base was perfect and the topping was masterfully sprinkled. The Italian chef came out to meet us and we had a great chat, he told us about the vegan croissants and we made sure to be back the next morning. We still aren’t sure on the magic that happens in the kitchen because the croissants were absolutely incredible! Soft, fluffy, warm and lightly filled with Jam. Along with the great coffee, it was a double dip of meals that will have us coming back! Molto molto benne grazie Food Lab!

Best Vegan croissant & Pizza - Edit
We absolutely adored eating and drinking at Food Lab! They catered incredibly well for Vegan and gluten free requirements. We dined on delicious V & GF Pizza with the tastiest vegan cheese 🧀 We went back the next day after speaking with the chef and owner who promised hot Vegan jam croissants. They were brought to us hot and fresh out of the oven with smooth Italian coffees. I can without hesitation say this is the best vegan croissant I’ve ever eaten! The owner and staff were so lovely and made the whole experience very warm and inviting. Thank you kindly!!

I wasn’t allowed to give this place 5 stars because happy cow reserve 5 stars just to fully vegan places but this place deserve them. It was amazing! To start with the chef is Italian and is so nice! I felt in Italy having a traditional pizza and the vegan cheese omg! I’ve never try a better vegan cheese!!! Worth it 100000%

Highly recommended! My partner had vegan gnocchi with a little vegan cheese on top and it had the most amazing rich, complex tomato based sauce - seriously good!
Read moreI had a vegan pizza which the very friendly Italian pizza maker customised for me. He said that he himself was vegetarian so seemed keen to look after me as a vegan. The pizza was fabulous!
The restaurant was happy to accommodate our request for as little oil as possible with the food.
They even had a zero alcohol Peroni beer for me to have with the pizza.
Don't miss this place if you are in or near Robe!
I would have given 5 stars but the program doesn't let me unless the venue is fully vegan.

Limited vegan options but that didn't matter. Expanding their menu to include more vegan options. We trialled their vegan big brekky and it was incredible. The pizza and salad were out of this world. The staff are amazing and friendly. I would highly highly recommend this place to anyone, not just vegans!

By far the best food and hospitality experience we encountered in Robe. The pizza is exceptional, hand rolled to order and wood fired perfectly.
Read moreThey have vegan options (you can ask for more vegan options as a “special” and they will take care of you). We will definitely be going back. An absolute must if you are in Robe.
(The only reason it did not get 5 stars is because the app won’t allow 5 stars unless the restaurant is 100% vegan/vegetarian - but this is absolutely a 5 star food experience).
