Great store! love it!

Reminds me of the old Mary Jane's store in downtown St John's so it's like a blast from the past... but find all kinds of great food there... things you can't find anywhere else in this city. I love her collection of tea, especially the Earl Grey and the Sencha. Owner is very knowledgable and friendly.

Expensive, limited selection

Frozen sections were all freezer burned. Quite expensive. Limited vegan selection. Tempeh is available.

Pros: Tempeh is available

Cons: Expensive, Limited vegan options, Freezer burn is real

Great resource

So nice to have this here when visiting St. John’s. The grocery stores (Dominion etc) have tofu and even Daiya, but a small place focused on vegan food is still a nicer place to shop.

Local store experience

They have a great selection of vegan products. They have vegan cheeses, fozen products, pantery staples, chocolates, and toiletries. Many of these products are made in Canada.

Pros: Vegan chocolate, Pantery staples

Cons: Cost

Great Hard-to-Find Items in stock!

I love coming here, but always spend too much! Good selection of vegan cheese and alternatives that you can't find elsewhere in the city. Vegan hot chocolates, candy bars, boxed and canned food, and much more!
It's also a great place to get local produce as well as exotic spices and seasonings - they stock the store tightly and well! :)

Pros: Lots of vegan choices, Imported goods, Fresh local produce

Cons: Pricey at times

Neighbourhood Treasure

This store is an institution in downtown St. John's. My family depends on it for kitchen staples and some special extras. The owner is knowledgable and experienced and responsive to her clientele. I don't know what we would do without it.

Pros: Walkable, Supports local farms, Well edited selection

Cons: Closes a half hour earlier than prefer
