Delicious cake

Came for coffee and cake. Two vegan choices, both were good and the coffee was delicious. Beautiful building and very chilled.

Quiet pretty garden

I got a beetroot and chocolate vegan cake and a pot of Yorkshire tea with oat milk. They also had soy milk as an alternative. The cake came with vanilla ice cream and it was tasty.

Dogs aren't allowed inside but they can stay on the lead in the garden.

Soup, books, coffee, library!

A magical place that does vegan options. I had the soup of the day (onion today) and my husband had the curry. Oat milk in the coffees no problem. The place is wonderful, the library is for readers only but you can sign up on the day and there are walks nearby and a lounge for reading in the cosy warmth.

Huge thank you to the previous reviewer - because of you we now know of this gem on our doorstep!

Heaven

What’s not to like? Vegan options in a library you can sleep in! Saturday 23.09.23 our first taste of the eatery is for lunch. A simple soup and bread with vegan spread. Soup of the day is apparently always vegan, today it was carrot and coriander. Very nice. As we’re staying the cost was added to our room.

Pros: Vegan options clearly labelled, It’s in a library , With accommodation!
