Amazing food, passionate knowledgeable staff. Superb introduction to Spanish vermout. Still trying to replicate the flavours at home but failing (black chickpea marinated in tea and soy sauce, how could it be THAT good and yet so hard?!)

We came for lunch on Christmas Eve, having seen the Happy Cow reviews. So glad we did! What a lovely meal. The bahn mi rolls are utterly divine. So good we're coming back to do it all again next Saturday. Thanks.

This delightful little restaurant is tucked away just off the city centre. Seek it out, you won't be disappointed.

You will be served exquisite food in charming surroundings. Every dish is meticulously thought out, and there is much originality. We just had to try hummus ice cream, and it was delicious, as were the three savoury sharing plates we chose.
I hope we can get a table next time we're in Málaga as it was so difficult to choose and I need to try more of this very special cuisine.

Dieses Restaurant wuerde ich mir in Hamburg wuenschen. Mein Mann u ich hatten 4 Gerichte (ohne Nachtisch) die wir uns geteilt haben. Man darf auf keinen Fall gehen ohne das Hummus Eis als Abschluss gekostet zu haben. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

We are so pleased we found this amazing little restaurant. In most cities you find a gem if a restaurant and in Malaga I think this is it. The decor and ambiance make you feel at home and the friendly greeting. The menu is explained in full and suggestions are made if needed.

I think there are only about 10 covers in the restaurant so booking us essential.

The best vegan food you'll eat this year - Edit
This place is the closest you'll find to vegan fine dining. All the dishes are sharing plates for two people (we had three and a dessert between the pair of us), everything is created to order, and the owner explained each dish to us when he brought it to the table.

It's not cheap but to be honest it's not expensive for the quality you're getting. We paid about €60 including two drinks (Sept 2022) and felt it was very reasonable .

We tried 3 dishes to share and had very yummy drinks with them. They only operate with reservations. Definitely worth planning a nice dinner when at Málaga.

Easily one of my best food experiences in Málaga - Edit
There was nothing not to love about this place. I didn't get his name but our server was incredibly friendly and clearly had a passion for the food he was serving. The food itself was incredibly fresh and considered with a couple of ingredients from some of the dishes being substituted to make sure everything on the plate was seasonal and fresh. Couldn't fault my experience here and would highly encourage anyone to check it out whilst in Málaga!

It is a little restaurant so better to book a table.the interior is nice and cosy! Everything on the menu is vegan but they still have cheese and meat as an option! The owners are very friendly! Worth a visit!

Had the most perfect evening at this place, the food was absolutely incredible, they really make great quality food with locally sourced ingredients. You can taste the love and effort they put into their food.

We booked a table beforehand via WhatsApp and that was easy way to be sure to fit in. The restaurant was super cute, fancy but cozy. The waiter was very friendly and warm-hearted. He came to tell us what every dish includes and made sure we enjoy ourselves. The dishes are made for sharing so we ordered 3 dishes. The flavours were incredible. I have never eaten so amazing vegan food. I totally recommend this place!

Read moreIt is a sharing restaurant so dishes get brought out on by one and everyone digs into each one. So we had four main courses one by one and then four desserts, two at a time. The flavours were insane!
The gentleman who runs Fonzo with his wife is lovely and takes pride in their work. He was so friendly and caring. And the restaurant itself is a work of art. Tiny bit perfect.
I recommend this establishment as a *must* for anyone visiting Malaga.

Hand on heart the best vegan meal we have had in any restaurant. If the only thing missing from your vegan life is going out to fancy restaurants then you need to go to Fonzo. It’s a fine dining style experience with really delicious food and excellent service. I hope we get the chance to return so we can try everything else on the menu. Highly recommend this place
