What a treat! The vegan fondue was so delicious that even my veggie husband who does not usually like plant based milk still loved it. The fondue was served with olives, potato, bell peppers, bread, pineapple, and pickles & onions. So many possible combinations to dip but loved the pickles, bell peppers, and the combo of bread and pineapple. The view from the side room was amazing- Mountains ⛰️ ! Pierre, our server, was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

only thing to look out for if you love wine like me is that the servers do not know which of the wines are vegan.
all in all this place is pretty pricy but unbelievably worth it:)

C'est délicieux et forcément bien plus léger que le fromage animal.
Ça ne reste pas sur l'estomac, on profite donc du refill puisque tout ce qui est proposé est disponible en illimité.
Il faut réserver car c'est populaire et ça se remplit vite. Le bémol, c'est de se retrouver à côté de touristes qui parlent fort mais ça on n'y peut rien...
J'aurais adoré tester celle au chocolat !
Bonus: une bouteille d'eau est disponible gratuitement à table.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this as I had never had fondue but this was amazing. I was skeptical of the almond base but the cheese sauce was delightful. Everything is refillable even the cheese, we ended up getting more potatos and bread. Top tip is to dip the pineapple with the bread! Unfortunately we were way too full to have the chocolate set but it looked amazing and wasn't much more to add on. We didn't need a reservation that night but can imagine it would get busy in peak season and when the hostel upstairs is full.

Read moreMy partner and I shared all the you can eat, getting both the vegan cheese and chocolate fondues. They were both delicious and filling, perfect for after a day of hiking. Be warned tho, I'm now very full 😅.
Will be back if we're ever in the area.

This is the place to go if you are visiting Interlaken! On our trip we kept a look out for vegan fondue and finally we found it at the fondue villa. We visited when it was very quiet. The waitress/server was very friendly and helpful, she truly made it a great experience.

For no extra fee they will refill anything you finish and want more of, including the fondue itself. The only disappoint for me was that I was too full to try the chocolate fondue! So I will definitely be back to try that one day 🙏🏻

Read moreThere is a delicious vegan fondue option that comes with the most varied dipping foods I have ever seen with fondue. There are breads and pickles and onions and tomatoes and potatoes, just to name a few of your choices they bring to your table. And make sure to ask for more if you run out.
The fondue itself is, honestly, better than a cheese fondue. It is savory without making you feel that bloated brick in your stomach, like cheese fondue does.
The scenery is magnificent. It is a real treat to behold. You have clear view of the Swiss Alps while rating outside by candle and twinkle light.
The biggest glaring flaw really hurts me to bring up. It honestly put a huge wet blanket on our whole experience. And that is that we were sat at a table with a different party of two. Not that we were right beside them, but that, we shared a table with them. My date and I were not able to hold a conversation between each other at all. What should have been a romantic dinner, felt like an intrusion in the other couple’s loud conversation with subjects we really did not want to hear about. It might sound silly to bring this up, but it really ruined what should have been an amazing experience.
I recommend a visit to Fondue Villa for a romantic evening, just make sure to ask for a separate table.

This was such a treat and highlight of our stay in Interlaken. We didn’t realize we were supposed to make reservations, but they kindly seated us. There is original and several flavors of fondue to choose from. We got the spicy garlic vegan fondue made from almonds and it was absolutely delicious. It was served with bite size bread, peppers, pickles and onions, fingerling potatoes, black and green olives and pineapple. We also got a bottle of the house wine. The food was bottomless, but one round was plenty for the two of us. We had an incredible experience and loved everything. I would have loved to try the chocolate fondue if we had more time to come back!!

We were very surprised to find a vegan fondue restaurant. Our family loved it. The almond-based vegan fondue was excellent. After being vegan for 11 years, this matches or beats my memory of conventional dairy-cheese fondue. The staff were extremely kind and thoughtful. We highly recommend coming on a sunny day and eating in the front garden. You can enjoy beautiful views while you eat!

My wife was keen to try the vegan fondue experience (and it is an AMAZING experience!) and being a vegetarian, I was a bit skeptical but opted to try the vegan almond fondue - I am so glad I did, it was absolutely fantastic! It is “all you can eat” and we managed two bowls of the almond fondue and god knows how many bowls of potatoes, bread, peppers, pineapple, pickles and olives before rolling back to our hotel! Really nice, welcoming staff, a fantastic setting just outside of town but surrounded by mountains and brilliant to sit outside in the beautiful sunshine! You would not believe how nice the vegan fondue is!!This is a vegetarian restaurant serving cheese fondue with a vegan option

Great vegan fondue - Edit
The place is very special, it is an old fashioned villa outside Interlaken center with a huge garden and a cozy room to have a fondue with friends. They offer vegan (almond based) fondue which is really good and even non-vegans will like it. Definitively worth visiting, probably it is the only place in Switzerland with vegan fondue, and even if there are other places, I doubt their vegan fondue is as good as of these folks.

It's such a vibrant, happy place. Staff is super kind and gave us a super nice local experience.... a great place to go for families but also just with your boyfriend if you're searching for a local and informal dinner experience. OOOOH and the vegan fondue was just delicious and unlimited with 7 other side dishes, all included in the price :-)

I was so happy I went for it and had their vegan fondue by myself as a solo traveler. It was my first time doing cheese fondue and it was great. Staff were friendly and offered guidance. Loved the options for dipping, especially the pickled onions. I did not expect the pineapple so I mostly ate that on its own— not dipped in cheese. Sadly raining this day, so I did not get to enjoy the outside dining area. Definitely recommend and would probably try the chocolate fondue next time as well!

Refills of dippers, although we found ourselves stuffed and managed to lick the pot clean with what we had. It was a first fondue experience for me and the staff were happy to answer questions about how to navigate it all (including how to use the fondue seasoning-which was also vegan-And, the cherry schnapps for some fun… when you read the menu, you’ll understand). Do go if you have the chance, you won’t regret it.
