Groovy vegan food and chill brewery vibe - Edit
Was not expecting this!! Mind blowlingly great food, hospitality, vibe, and value. Wife and I were visiting nearby Cornville and Sedona and underwhelmed with vegan specific establishments in the surrounding towns. Found Fojol on Happy Cow and we were expecting your typical Indian rstaurant (which we love). Fojol’s, instead, is like being dropped in the middle of a Portland brewery that serves awesome curries and other veggie dishes with a hearty selection of beers and local kombuchas on tap. The food (we had a Pick2 lentil and chickpea curry and a spicy Manchurian cauliflower stir fry, both served with rice, washed down with two kombuchas—lavender/rose and blueberry/basil) was first rate, flavorful, hefty portions, and super reasonably priced. Equally impressive was the vibe both behind the counter/bar and in the patrons themselves—chill, hip, and groovy. The music ranged from Silversun Pickups to Foster the People. The decor was equally and intentionally on point—an old automotive garage with roll-up doors still in tact, glazed mint green concrete floor decked out with corrugated aluminum and cinder block walls. The seating was spacious and comfortable neo-deco. The pièce de résistance was the artfully hung 2 dozen steel woks overhead. Cannot wait to come back. If I lived here, this would definitely be my favorite place to hang, drink, and eat. Thank you for making our trip memorable and delicious.

Loved the heat! Food heat 😉 - Edit
We stopped in on a Tuesday, late afternoon, for a flight of beer and took our food to go. Sadly, I have no pictures. We shared the vegan samosa and panota. They didn’t ask about desired heat level and I found it to be the perfect amount of heat! Cool place, with outdoor dining and casual seating patio. There are more activities in the back of the property.

Delicious curry - Edit
The 3 vegan curries were all delicious. I ordered a second meal to go. The curries were served in compostable containers which had beautiful blessings written on them.

Super cute place…and yummy! - Edit
What a sweet place! Very casual. The mango ginger was the best kombucha I ever had. My eggplant and chickpea curries were amazing and my dad loved the spinach paneer as well. The lunch menu is small but perfectly wonderful. Will definitely return next time I visit.

Super Delicious! - Edit
At the moment they have 4 different curries: 2 are vegan, two are vegetarian. I got eggplant and chickpea. The eggplant curry is in a tasty cashew sauce. It was so delicious, I loved it. Big portions too 😁. This is a super cool place to eat in or go through the drive through.

Decent and cheap curry - Edit
Indian style curry is my least favorite curry so I was hesitant but since there are few vegan options in Cottonwood, especially for dinner, I decided to give it a try. The smaller option is for 2 curries with rice and the larger option is for 3 curries with rice; both are a decent price. There's 4 curries on offer and 2 are vegan. I got the 2 vegan curries: chickpeas and lentils. The chickpea curry was really good. The lentil was OK but I've never had a good dhal so I should not have been surprised. Decided to go for a second night in a row and got the same thing. This time the chickpea curry was just ok and the lentil tasted better in comparison--really felt like it was the same batch that sat overnight and it somehow ruined the flavor of the chickpea curry. The rice was a little crunchy in parts, which was a dealbreaker to return for a 3rd night. Very convenient drive thru location that accepts credit cards.
