Very tasty (and filling) vegan versions of German food. A nice place to eat and talk for as long as you like. It won't be easy, but try to keep room for dessert, since they are super nice.

If you want to try some local German dishes but vegan then this is your place. The food is quite good, especially the schnitzel but it’s a little overpriced. The staff are friendly and speak good English which isn’t always a given #Veganuary

By far the best tofu scramble I have ever had! My boyfriend who isn’t vegan had the vegan pancakes and was surprised how good they were and how big the portions were!

Eigentlich ein nettes Restaurant, aber irgendwas war immer... Heiße Hilde war lauwarm. Portionen bei einem Hauotgericht riesig, beim anderen klein (der eine muss auf den anderen warten). Geschmacklich manchmal geil, manchmal naja.

Finding German vegan food is not always the easiest and this place pulled it off! We got a fried cheese plate, the butternut squash risotto with brussel sprouts, and the schnitzel with a mushroom sauce and flavorful potatoes. I think the risotto was our favorite but it was all very good and very rich. For dessert, I had the first vegan crème brulée I've ever had and it was so good - almost like a cheesecake consistency. I definitely recommend, this was a wonderful dining experience!

I was excited about this place as it offers traditional German food. I had quite some difficulty choosing a dish as many options sounded attractive. I went for the Schnitzel with fried potatoes, fried egg and salad. While the potatoes and salad were good I did not enjoy the Schnitzel that much. It seemed a bit too well fried on the edges and didn't have the taste that I know from meat and vegan Schnitzels from the supermarket, which are usually quite nice in taste. While one can argue about taste, there is no doubt that this Schnitzel was far from the original, so I have to take one star off for this.

We ordered a Soy roulade with potatoes au gratin, it was good, nothing special, and a schnitzel with mushroom sauce more potatos, it had no seasoning and the sauce was impossible to eat, it had a very strong earthy flavor, we couldn't eat it. And the dish had a lot of rosemary, in everything. Everything with rosemary flavor. And the wine was so sweet and we asked dry wine.

Für mich ein Ort wo man nicht spontan essen geht, sondern etwas für besondere Anlässe. Wir haben das Wochenendmenü mit Weinbegleitung gehabt und besonders die Jackfruit-Seitan-Medaillons in Rotweinsosse haben mich umgehauen. Jeden einzelnen Gang habe ich so noch nie zuvor gegessen.

We had an incredible meal here! My Grandparents (her parents) were from Germany so we were all familiar with the Spätzle, schnitzel & roulade we ordered. The potatoes (both roasted & gratin) we’re also so tasty, as was the cucumber salad & oyster mushrooms. My Aunt & her partner still sometimes eat meat & said they wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference between. The vegan versions & meaty versions! That’s what you want to hear from a vegan place like this!

They do have a lunch menu, but we opted for the breakfast. It was fast, warm and tasty. And the service was great. It is a very nice restaurant, i was very surprised to see it empty.

Ansich war das Essen sehr lecker. Allerdings wurden uns fast rohe Kartoffeln als Rosmarin Kartoffeln serviert. Nach Beschwerde wurden diese allerdings in schön braune ofenkartoffeln getauscht. Kamen wohl versehentlich zu uns ohne den Ofen gesehen zu haben. Sonst aber wie gesagt wirklich gut.

The food was brilliant, we had schnitzel of course and chanterelle bruschetta that was super tasteful. The portions are generous and the staff are lovely. The menu is original and full of great choices. The ambience is very relaxing. Berliners are lucky to have this place!

A great destination for "continental" vegan food - Edit
It's fair to say that 80% of vegan restaurants in Berlin are either "healthy", Asian or fast food. Försters provides an alternative, with their menu of mostly German-inspired veganised dishes. The star of the show is definitely the schnitzel. Great place to eat on a cold evening.

Unfortunately the food was not very good especially considering the prices. We had 2 different tagliatelle, a knödel dish and the roastbeef as main dishes. They were all not convincing. The same for the ceasear salad as starter. The cheese corners as starter were really good though. This was my third time here and wouldn't try it again except for the desserts.

So far, this is the best food we've had on our recent trip to Berlin. We ordered the roast beef and the tagliatelle.

The tagliatelle had a fresh combination of flavors and the roast beef was very savory.
There were not many other guests when we arrived so the food came out quickly.
