I was there at openingtime (10 am) and was alone the whole time.

The avocado wasn’t ripe yet, so a bit hard and tasteless. The bread however was nice and soft.
The atmosphere is great and I like that the kichten and coffee counter are so open.
I don’t like the fact that they stil have cows milk and cheese. But they don’t state that they are vegan, but I think they should go fully vegan. We all know about the ugly dairy industry!!

Hi Thank you for visiting us! All cheese that is on our menu is plantbased. Yes, we still serve cow milk. From the experience we have, we know that 85% of our costumers are non-vegan. People who would eat meat, fish and cheese if we would not be there at that location.
Read moreThey come to us for our food and atmosphere and some of them still like cow milk in their coffee. We often convince them to drink one of our plantbased milk options instead.
Like you said we dont state to be an all vegan company (because of the cow milk option) allthough all of our food is 100% plantbased!

I had a hard time choosing what I wanted to eat; so many options! I choose the tofu scramble, which was really good. Loved the Mexican spiced hot chocolate and chai latte. As a non-coffee drinker it's a big plus that there are hot beverages besides tea. Desserts are also worthwile.

We were there for a workshop on veganism. It is one of the few vegan restaurants in The Hague. We took a tasty vegetable plate and drank a delicious fresh juice. It's a pity that the prices are so expensive and that it' s not open in the evening. Nevertheless, we can recommend this restaurant.

Foam is close to our house, so we frequently go for lunch here, or have a meal (or sweets) to go. Especially the events are very nice, like the Valentine dinner and the English breakfast. The food is always well looked after and the owner Rjimke is always smiling :)

I had the pleasure of eating at FOAM while in The Hague on business. I had a wonderful Pumpkin soup, the Portobello burger and carrot cake. The food was fantastic! Since they are only open until 5pm I also ordered a to-go item FOAM Bowl (because we all know how hard it can be finding good Vegan food sometimes). All was great - until - time to pay! They only accept CASH (and local debit cards!). I travel a lot for business and almost never carry cash. I am able to do almost everything with credit cards. Needless to say this was upsetting. They worked with me to allow me to return to my hotel and get some cash. Luckily the hotel advanced me $$ and I was able to pay my bill (and a generous tip) but it was quite embarrassing. With all the options a available today for payment - i HOPE they will accept other than cash in the future.

Staff is friendly, the location is nice, with also outdoor seating.
I will be coming again, especially for the acai bowl which was amazing.

Located on a lovely shopping street in Den Haag, this is a fabulous option for strict vegans. FOAM offers sidewalk tables, a rear courtyard, and a pleasant contemporary interior. As a vegan it's great to find an upscale dining environment together with food we can eat. There is a nice selection of juices to compliment the all vegan menu options. Daily specials are offered.

We absolutely loved the food at FOAM. Their fresh juices and hot drinks are exciting and delicious, the dishes colourful, fresh and very tasty and the staff is very friendly.
Read moreThe place itself might be small, but you can tell a lot of thought and love went into it. They have one of those typically dutch (?) parking space seating booths in front, so you can sit outside in the sun!
I recommend checking their facebook page for the latest posts before you go. I really appreciate that the staff posted a few days ago, for example, that the kitchen would close a little earlier (still leaving cake and drinks), so we could plan ahead accordingly!

I love this cute place for lunch, breakfast (the pancakes are great!) or just a cup of coffee. Except for the cows milk option they give you for the coffee the place is entirely vegan. They have a nice little garden and there is almost always some free spots.

Yes, my review is just based on their apple pie, which was amazing! One day in The Hague I decided to try as many veg restaurants as possible, so I had brekfast at Hortus, lunch at La Quinta Verde, and dinner at Veggies on Fire.

I just realized that I never wrote a review for "Foam", although I am quite a regular customer and I loved it from my first visit. Everything I tried so far was delicious, if it were quesadillas or pancakes. My favorite place - if the weather permits- is on the little, very green terrace on the backside.

I would go back if I am again in the neighborhood. It is just a 20 min walk from the central train station.

The food was really good. I had the carrot-ginger-coconut soup and the vegan carrotcake. Both were very delicious. I also ordered the mango-orange-banana juice, which I really enjoyed. The atmosphere was very good too, the staff was very friendly. Definitely recommend coming here! All options on are vegan, except some of the cakes I believe (but those weren't on the menu).
