Nice place, but sometimes the food is bland - Edit
I've been here several times and the quality of their dishes is a bit inconsistent. Sometimes the food is nice, like the quesadilla and some pastries (e.g. the cowboy cookie, carrot cake and lemon-tahini cookie). But sometimes it's a bit disappointing, like the ramen bowl, the rösti and the mac ‘n ‘cheese’. Other dishes are so-so, like the unagi bowl, pancakes and apple crumble.

Best avocado bread brunch in town - Edit
Over the past years I have tested quite many options of savoury late breakfasts/brunches in The Hague. So far, this was the best avocado bread I found in town.
Read moreWhen ordering from the menu, I thought the 9.95 plus 2.50 for the extra tempeh "bacon" made it a bit expensive when compared to avocado breads elsewhere. However, the size was huge - three to four times what I got elsewhere - and there were plenty of smoked almonds plus delicious microgreens on top. Personally, I didn't like the taste of the tempeh "bacon", but I really can't objectivize my preferences here.
The latte macchiato with oat milk was not very large but tasted perfect. I loved how it was served with a small piece of watermelon instead of some unhealthy cookie full of added sugar or chocolate.

Planning to move to Den Haag and I was marvelous to finally taste this place. The vibe is amazing, the food is so comforting. I really recommend to try, the area around is a bit different from the city center so it deserves a try! Dying to come back ❤️

Lots of different and delicious vegetables in the salad, raw and cooked. The grilled sandwich was made of good bread, but the filling had a strange texture. A bit stickey. I wouldn’t order It a next time.

My expectations were a bit too high in relation to what it really was. I had the tuna wrap which was filled with a bit too much lettuce and the 'tuna' salad didn't taste like tuna, not even a bit. It tasted just like what it was; chickpeas. They could have added more veggies.

I came here twice, once for lunch and once for breakfast. The first day was lunch. I had a sweet potato with beans and corn and a sauce. It was quite nice but could have done with a little more flavour. A couple of days later, I tried the pancakes for breakfast. These were delicious. Such a good variety of fruit served with them and the syrup was nice.

What an amazing place! Everything we had was super delicious and prepared with devotion and top-notch ingredients. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional and the concept of an open kitchen is brought to a whole new level in this place. I‘d give six stars if possible. Highly recommended!

Nice place, great food, efficient service and reasonable prices. I like the concept of open kitchen, which allows you to watch your food being prepared (not sure if it's nice for the staff, since it adds some extra pressure), so give them a nice tip :)

We stopped here for breakfast and were so pleased we did. They had unusual breakfast options like a mexican spicy tostada which was delicious and a great way to start the day. The coffees and juices were really good, the staff were friendly. The cafe isn't huge but is super popular, when we left pretty much every table had a reserved sign on it ready for Brunch/lunch so it may be worth booking it you 100% want to eat there and nowhere else.

We went to Foam for breakfast and were slightly disappointed by the menu. I like a hearty breakfast, bit everything was really really hearty, except for the pancakes. I had the mac and cheese😄Tasted very good though. And the Mexican hot chocolate deserves extra credit top!

The atmosphere is very nice, there is nice outdoor seating in the front and even nicer seating in the private backyard so you should always be able to see some sun. The owner also offered us blankets if it got too cold. Inside the café is very homely with an open kitchen.
Read moreEveryone was super friendly and really tried to give us the best experience. The foam was a bit much for a „flat white“ but the food was really good. We had the BLT and the pancakes which both tasted amazing. But nothing could top the cookies that came with the coffee. They were so good we asked to bring a few home and got them packed up. We definitely recommend this place!

Ik koos de quesadillas (met extra 1/2 avocado & bacon tempeh). Erg smakelijk.
Porties vond ik niet heel groot, ik was blij dat ik de extra’s erbij had genomen. Dat is dan ook eigenlijk direct het enige ‘minpunt’ wat ik kan verzinnen.
Het personeel is vriendelijk en het restaurant leuk ingericht. We werden snel geholpen door de vriendelijke bediening.

Leuk tentje met vegan opties. Ik had de bramen/appel crumble. Erg veel appel en na een aantal happen had ik er wel genoeg van. Flinke portie. De zoete bites zagen er lekker uit (zoete aardappel blondie bijvoorbeeld) maar vond ze nogal prijzig dus die heb ik niet genomen.

First, the cream cheese is FANTASTIC!
I just would’ve liked it better if there weren’t 3 layers of bread, or if it had more filling in it, it was too much bread and not enough filling, it hardly had any sundried tomato. And the salsa was really a tiny side of chopped apple and fennel, maybe it would’ve been nicer if it was all blended up?
