Solid vegan option in Den Haag

This is a great spot for breakfast, lunch or brunch in the city. A must visit for everyone visiting den Haag. The open kitchen concept is so cute, you can see the staff baking cakes. The menu is interesting and not always the same boring options.

Sehr zu empfehlen

Ich habe das avocado sandwich und einen matcha latte probiert (war sehr gut!). Ich konnte mich kaum entscheiden, alles sah sehr lecker aus. Das Ambiente ist toll, man kann draußen sitzen oder auch hinten im Garten und die Küche ist offen im Restaurant.

Tasty and kind

Kind staff and tasty food. I've ordered a Mexican one and it was the taste was quite rich. Would wished having paid less, it was about 20€ for each, 15€ the meal and 5€ the coffee.

Pros: Good taste

Cons: A bit overpriced

The perfect place

Wonderful meal, perfect music, the best team!
The place is cute and cozy, the girls are sweet and the food is tasty.
Miso mayo and tempeh are the best.

Forgotten Outside At Mealtime

We sat outside for a while waiting for a server, but no one came, so my partner went inside to find one. The soup of the day was potato leek, which was thick and creamy. The soup arrived without the bread I had ordered, so I had to remind the server. I also ate a chocolate, cookie dough, and peanut butter bar which was good, and not overly sweet.

Nice lunch

Had lunch here on a weekday. It was a sunny day, so we sat on the terrace in front of the restaurant. It's in a rather quiet smaller street, so not that much traffic, which was nice.

We had a coffee and an elderflower lemonade (3,95€), an avocado sandwich (9,25€) + tempeh 'bacon' (2,50€) and an Italian toast (10,95€). And a soup (4,95€).
The food was lovely. The extra bacon bits (the tempeh) came on the wrong plate, but no big deal, as we shared anyway. Soup and drinks were also great!

Service was rather slow though. Took quite some time before order was taken, drinks & food came. Although the restaurant was not even full. In English, no Dutch spoken.

Was glad we could sit outside, inside gave a bit cramped impression. And next to open kitchen, with staff constantly busy.
Saw one toilet, tiny. With a damp towel to dry ones hands. Eek... One of my pet pieves : - / This is really not hygienic, ...

Cute place, good food

Really friendly staff, open kitchen. The hot chocolate is recommended! I also had granola with coconut yoghurt and apple, which was heartwarming.

Delicious flavours, lovely vibe

Loved the interesting dishes - tasted great, and nice and filling too. The staff were friendly and engaged, happy to discuss the menu. Great spot!

FOAM is een eetplek die slim is omgegaan met haar beschikbare ruimte. De open keuken is geïntegreerd in het interieur en bevindt zich naast de zitplaatsen. Als klant kan je dus naar hartelust kijken hoe de gerechten bereid worden. Het is absoluut niet storend! Het eten was echt heel erg lekker, klassieke smaken die op een nieuwe manier bij elkaar gebracht worden. Een absolute aanrader dus!

lovely place

The location is a typically small duch townhouse with the FOAM.
The waiters are super nice and courteous.
I had a „burger“ with tempeh, it was delicious! 🙂

Great flavours

We were lucky enough to sit in the cute garden at the back of the cafe. Initially told we could only have the table for an hour we decided to order mains & drinks only. My tacos were delicious albeit difficult to eat without knife & fork. OH had the BLT which he enjoyed
Extensive road/ path repairs made it difficult to access the cafe which seemed a bit of a walk away from the rest of the city - but worth it

Viel een beetje tegen

We vonden twee gerechten een beetje karig (smaken). De pannenkoekjes en de BLT waar echt te weinig tempeh bacon op zat waardoor deze smaak nauwelijks voorkwam tijdens het eten. De toasty viel wel in goede aarde.

Gastvrij, lekkere gerechten, heerlijke tuin

Op een warme middag even uitrusten in een oase van rust in druk Den Haag. Een lekkere tosti gegeten en een stukje perzik-pecan cake meegenomen voor later.

Have lunch in the garden

The menu offers lots of interesting dishes to choose from. The restaurant has an open kitchen, a garden in the back and terrace in front. Perfect for a sunny day.

I tried the homemade lemonade and the aubergine bowl. It was very tasty but the bowl a bit pricey, I would say.

The interior design is a dime a dozen. The staff does it job efficiently. So it's mainly the food that will make me want to visit this place again.

Cozy, good service and delicious.

I was really happy I decided to stop in. The weather behaved long enough for me to sit on the back patio and enjoy a chai latte and tacos. The chai smelled and taste so good and the tacos were flavorful. If you’re looking for a healthy meal, I recommend FOAM!
