Overpriced CNY set

Compared to its reasonable n normal menu price, the price for CNY set at $48 per pax is really too much.

Cons: Overly expensive

Tasty sliced fish bee hoon soup

The whole big bowl of the sliced fish bee hoon soup smells super fragrant, tastes very good too, with lots of green veggies, tomato, seaweed, oyster mushroom and sliced fish, one of the best sliced fish bee hoon soup so far, food is made upon order so it's piping hot, portion is super generous, can serve 2 pax for small eaters, recommended.

Yummy and spacious restaurant

Despite staying near this restaurant, it was first time patronising there for earlier meal. And I have to say, I will go again! Their food are yummy and portion is just nice for us (3 pax).
We have ordered the below for total of 70.95 sgd.

✨Spices butter veg frog - first photo, made of shroom and love it! Crispyyyy!

✨Salad prawn - No complains! Pretty presentation and classic taste.

✨Kai Lan and Beancurd Knot - Like the veges and beancurd knot are fried - so yummy. Didn’t expect much from beancurd knot but they changed my perception.

✨Veg Shark’s Fin Soup - We love this and finished all! Nicely done! Hot and comforting. It’s slightly thick gluey kind but I like it hehh. A lot of ingredients in it. Paired my bowl of soup with vinegar and pepper, perfect!

✨Chinese tea - nothing went wrong with this. Taste just like any other chinese tea and I did not take photo of it haahah.

Pros: Spacious restaurant , Staff are friendly, Food are yummy. Vegan options available!

Wonderful place

This restaurant is amazing. In the midst of Little India is a fantastic vegetarian/vegan chinese restaurant. A huge menu full of choices, and the service is almost too attentive. Choice of brown and white rice and they give you free nibbles (tofu skins made with seaweed and pickled veggies) when you sit down.

Pros: Excellent food, Service, Price

Cons: No garlic used

Discover the Wonders of Healthy Chinese Vegetarian

Discover the Wonders of Healthy Chinese Vegetarian Cuisine in a 30 years old Restaurant ...

Fo You Yuan Vegetarian Restaurant may be unknown to many folks. But it is a Restaurant with 30 years history, serving healthy and gourmet Chinese Vegetarian Cuisine (awarded by HPB - Healthier Restaurant Award since 2005) by Owners-Mangers-Chefs (if I got it correct).
The Place
The interior of this restaurant is nondescript but with a very Chinese Feel. It serves up awesome and innovative vegetarian cuisine at a reasonable price. There are mock meat options, but if you don't fancy them, choose other healthier mushroom or vegetables choices on the extensive menu.
The Food
The specialty dish is SUGAR CAN E FLOWER, which is a RARE dish (and mysterious)! Opt for the Pan-fried Sugar Flower with sauce ($12+) if you do not want the Deep-fried Sugar Cane Flower. The banana-shaped buds of the sugar cane plant have a crunchy texture that gives a nice bite .
The Fo You Yuan Signature Rice Vermicelli or "Guai Hua" Rice Vermicelli ($8+) which is not listed on the menu is something similar to Fried 'Hing Hwa' Bee Hoon, is excellent - soft, aromatic, moist and delicious and yet not oily.
The Imperial Vegetarian Cocoon ($15+) which we ordered is mango with mock ham wrapped with rice vermicelli, deep-fried and garnish with mayo sauce. It is crispy with a little crunchy, delicious and was not oily.
The "Open Food" which is Ikan Bili ( deep-fried beancurd skin with nori is additive, simply love it) and Achar costs only $2+. Servings generous. We had Chrysanthemum Tea that is charged only $2+. Want more tea, just request for it.
I found many dishes I like (Vegetarian Escargo, Signature Rice Vermicelli, another mango dish etc) and their dessert menu (east and western) look tempting. The setting is ideal for family gatherings to enjoy healthy and yet delectable, creative Chinese Vegetarian cuisine, for a change. It is another eatery that definitely keeps me coming back for more.

Pros: Excellent Food, good value, Friendly Staff

Been to this restaurant with a group of venerables, & all of them love the food there!! Highly recommended!! Their food served is fresh, delicious & absolutely SEDAP!! Finger licking good!!

If U happen to be in that area, this is a Die-Die Muz Try restaurant. U should try their 'Heng Cai Jiu Shou', Vegetarian Sharkfin, Veg., Steam-Boat, Deep Fried Stuff & also their special dessert, like Mango Pudding & Ice-Cream (imported from Australia)
