Great choice, good value - Edit
Great selection of fake meats and vegetable dishes. The cost was perhaps a little higher than similar stalls in other parts of the city but that's probably due to the touristy location. Even still, I only paid RM9 for a heaped plate of excellent food (barbecued pork, fish curry, kangkung, cabbage/kale and more). Despite the location (in a rather dingy and noisy food court with a horrific wash-room) I would recommend it.

Great variety and tasty - Edit
This buffet has more than two dozen dishes to choose from. I had rice with 4 choices, which were all great. It only cost RM 7. Of course, it is a buffet - so the dishes were prepared a while ago and are luke-warm at best. But they're still good. However the setting is not very pleasant. It's one of a number of food stalls in the same area, so there are dead animals hanging up and being eaten nearby. And it's noisy and crowded. But I guess that can be fun when you're up for it - which you need to be anyway to walk down Jalan Petaling.
Pros: Variety, Inexpensive
Cons: Noisy, crowded setting, Shares tables with meat stalls

Prepare to be boggled by variety! - Edit
Head here when feeling in need of a vegfest. The selection today was genuinely exciting. I piled up on two veg based options and wasn't disappointed with either choice. A warning to those who like to take advantage of serving yourself, your plate is priced not only on number of dishes, but also on the size of each mountain you pile on.
Pros: Huge selection, self service
Cons: Meat stalls sharing space,

excellent! - Edit
Our plan was never to even go to Kuala Lumpur proper. My wife and I were to fly home from Jakarta with a stopover in KL, then on home to Amsterdam. The flight from Jakarta to KL was delayed, however, and we missed our flight home, which meant 24 hours in KL until the next flight. We got put up by Malaysian Airlines in a hotel near the airport but decided to go into town for lunch and walked around Jalan Petaling. I don't know why the map of this place is in the wrong spot, but it's definitely on Jalan Petaling, and not in Petaling Jaya. We saw this vegetarian place in a foodcourt and decided to stop in while wandering Jln Petaling and the markets around it. We saw just the first half of the stall and thought "wow this is a lot of exciting vegetarian Chinese food!" Then we noticed then stall just kept going and going. Yes, the food is out and thus some of it has gotten cold, but the flavors make up for it. You get a big plate of rice and then load up on all the different dishes you want. All the best (Southeast Asian) Chinese dishes are here, and vegetarian versions (usually using mock meat) of traditionally meat dishes. I try not to go overboard on the mock meat but did get 2 mock meat dishes and about 5 vegetable-based ones (you can get a little bit of a lot of dishes) and all were excellent. Prices did seem kind of made up at the end but my wife spoke in Chinese so it ended up being incredibly cheap. Well worth getting stranded for a day in KL.

OK good buffed food - Edit
The place is often hidden behind a lot of small stalls. Search for the big, black sign on the west side of the street.
The food is good and there is a lot of different dishes to chose from. A few also whit mock meat. But often, many of the dishes are already cold or almost cold.
The price is 1rm per have spoon of dish, but the cashier often give fantasy prices - not always to the customers loose.
Pros: No AC, Stall whit meat serve at the same tables, Indor and outdor sitting places
Cons: No AC, Stall whit meat serve at the same tables
