Fun vibe with good coffee

I love how vegan friendly this place is! One of the few places you can find vegan pumpkin spice lattes in the fall. Today I went for their sausage breakfast burrito and French toast latte. I’m really impressed by the flavors in their coffee. The burrito is good but definitely needed salsa for me. They also have really unique environmentally friendly to go cups. If you love cat themed things check this place out!

Pros: Fun theme, Environmentally friendly cups

Maybe try something else

We had the vegan chorizo burrito with avocado. It was good. They didn't have salsa but offered Tobasco sauce. When joking about tobasco not being salsa we were told they were a coffee shop. The establishment did not seem clean and the bathroom's cleanliness was one step up from a dirty gas station.

Pros: Vegan options.

Cons: Cleanliness, Food was okay not great, Parking was a challenge

Okay

We tried the Snowshoe and Chartreux bagels, both of which were good. Coffee was okay.

I love this place

I've been working from "home" due to the teacher strike, and I cannot recommend Flying Cat Coffee more. Everything is vegetarian and can be made vegan. The mocha (I highly recommend the peanut butter mocha) is also vegan. The Lynx Purrito is my favorite, and the bagels with cream cheeze is also so good. And all of the art, books, pillows are cat themed. It's extra cute and cozy 😄

Pros: Purritos, peanut butter mocha

CATastrophe

The shop's menu doesn't list the vegan breakfast sandwich that's online, so I asked if it was available. The employee seemed kind of annoyed that I wanted it and I ended up annoyed that I got it. It was just dry, bland tofu on a dry English muffin. No flavor at all. They did have some Shoofly Bakery pastries, but they were all individually wrapped in plastic. My partner had to request a reusable mug even though he had ordered "for here."

Pros: cat decor

Cons: customer service, plastic-wrapped pastries

Charming!

This is a super charming hole-in-the-wall that I’m happy to have in the neighborhood. They have a wide variety of treats, lots of vegan options, and a killer chai!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Variety

Good bagel and schmear

I really enjoyed the toasted bagel and hummus (which was generously applied). I thought the smoothie was a little thick and would have liked it if it was blended more for ideal creaminess.

Good coffee shop, lack of cats 🐱

I went out of my way to check this spot out, which was disappointing. It was a good coffee shop, but no better than any other coffee spot you can go to. The best part about it was that it was empty. I don’t like crowded places, so that did kind of make it a gem!

Pros: Good coffee, Not crowded, Nice staff

Cons: “Cat theme” is a stretch. Just a coffee shop. , Nothing special, just coffee.
