Cosy Little Vegan Place - Edit

I can only repeat what has already been said before: This is a really cosy place, the staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! We were lucky enough to get a table for three, but since it's quite a small place you'd rather make a reservation just to be safe.

There's also a nice choice of vegan cakes. We couldn't resist enjoying a piece or two with some almond and matcha latte.

Pros: It's vegan ;), friendly staff, cosy with a lot of charm

Cons: it's very small, the food could have been a bit warmer

A small haven - Edit

This is one of my favourite lunch restaurants in town. Not only does the food taste great, but the staff is super nice. For chilli fiends such as myself, Ania’s spicy curries will thrill the taste buds.

Pros: Near the train station, Tasty food, Friendly staff

Cons: Noisy at peak hour

Everything is homemade, fresh and delicious. Been there quite often and the food gets never boring. Very cute place!
The service is great and they even accept dogs!
Every so often they organize an amazing vegan Sunday brunch!

My favourite up to now - Edit

Excellent food at a correct price. Everyday another plate of the day. You can also try the soup or the quiche with salad. And the carrot cake! Kind service! If the weather is ok you may also seat outside. Reservation almost a must.

expensive but worth it - Edit

Yes, I paid €6.50 for porridge and yes I could make it for less at home but not like it was here - turmeric, ginger and cinnamon. It was very tasty and filling. The lunch menu is amazing and more appropriately priced however we noticed that all the tables had already been reserved for lunch (we were there around 10am) so booking is a must! Lunch menu changes every day but looked interesting and tasty. We'll definitely go back.

Pros: Loads of vegan options, Loads of 'milk's in coffee, breakfast and cakes

Cons: Could buy breakfast at Carrefour and make it cheap

Good vegan breakfast options - Edit

Here's a full overview of my experience...

Food - breakfast porridge with fruit and seeds was excellent - super creamy, nice variety of fruits topped with flax and sunflower seeds. Very yummy. The breakfast homemade bread basket with jam and chocolate spread was also a hit - you get 3 small pieces of lightly toasted bread so don't expect a big portion here. Vegan cashew based Cheesecake was a great - light and just the right sweetness (not too sweet/stodgy/heavy) with a nice selection of set, forest fruits on top.

Chai tea was completely overpriced (€4.50) for what was essentially a weak tea bag swimming in hot milk. Not good. Boyfriend had a soy latte which was good though I resent the €0.50 surcharge here because so much of the menu is vegan anyway. The flavoured water was totally overpriced too (€6 if I remember rightly for mint and fruits in tap water?!?!?!).

Service - slow but I'm conscious the waitress was training so I haven't let this influence my score. Food arrived in good time.

Cleanliness - excellent. Toilets also very clean.

Decor - gorgeous and just spot on! Lovely ambience, light, bright and airy.

Other stuff - you can pay by card. Breakfast starts at 11am but the lunch menu doesn't start till midday.

Pros: Great breakfast options for vegans, Yummy vegan cheesecake

Cons: Some items are overpriced , Pay extra for non-dairy milk :(

delicious brunch - Edit

I reserved a table with a few friends for a sunday brunch and the food was very tasty (25€ per person).
Some salads, a warm rice dish and a good variety of vegan cakes :).

Maya1 03 Jan 2018 - Thank you for your review. I just would like to specify that our brunch is slightly more than a few salads and a hot dish. Actually we serve wraps, vegan gluten free loafs, different types of bread, different dips, quiches and sweets and of course different salads and a hot dish ?

I would go back - Edit

Flowers Kitchen is located very close to Luxembourg's main train station and is very cosy. The waitress has been very friendly and welcoming. Three dishes are offered, two of which change every day. I had a quiche with a salad, which was really tasty, for 11€.

Pros: Friendly staff, Cosy atmosphere

Cons: Nothing is organic.

Maya1 03 Jan 2018 - Thank you for your nice review. I’m just wondering why you’re writing that nothing is organic. Actually most of the ingredients we use such as our coffees and teas are organic.
