Macrobiotic cafe in Torimi town. Offers vegan sweets all day long, 3 or so vegan lunch courses plus kids lunch option, and a bento lunch box. Hosts cooking courses in spring and autumn. After 2pm is drinks and sweets only. Open Mon-Sat 11:00am-2:00pm, Mon-Fri 2:00pm-4:30pm.

Great Cafe and store - Edit
The staff were really friendly and helped me choose my meal. I had the lunch set with a grape cider and a small dessert. It all tasted good and was pretty cheap.

We visited Flowerish during our stay in the area. Located fairly close to Tomio station (Kintetsu line to Nara/Ōsaka Nanba), 2nd floor of the house shared with little shop with macrobiotic food and eco drugstore stuff.
Read moreLunch comes in the plastic bentō box, even when you have it in the restaurant. We are always happy when it comes to vegan food in Japan, as it is still not an option everywhere, but this time everything was overshadowed with the strange “cult centre” vibes of the place. The restaurant itself looks like a gigant chaple.
