Solid - Edit
Had the Mother Earth bowl with added tofu. It was actually really good. I would definitely order it again.

Flower Child - Edit
OK vegan options and taste but really the only decent option in the area. One visit was enough for me. It’s next to Whole Foods if you need snacks for later. Photos to follow.

Absolutely Impressed! - Edit
Flower Child offers many, clearly marked and already vegan, menu items. This place knows how to source really great produce and treat it with respect. There's a finesse to the food preparation here that keeps everything super fresh but also very satisfying. Plenty of patio seating and great energy. Love this place!

Very good food with lots of vegan options. A lot of space to find places to sit without feeling crowded in the downstairs area 🥑🥑

Bummed - Edit
I was kinda bummed when I got here. I was hoping for the ramen without the spicy tofu. But they said it’s already made with it in there. So I had to step aside and rethink my order. I ended up getting a bowl that was okay. I had a meal for the next day though since it was a lot of food. I heated it up for breakfast the following day and added some of my home made tahini dressing and it was much better. I have found that most of the bowls I try lack flavor. Maybe ask for extra sauce?

Pricey, but good - Edit
Good seasonal dishes but can be on the pricier side. I do enjoy it when I go though. I like the Mother Earth bowl.

Flower Child - Edit
Update: Went back here and found a fly in my vegan ramen. Gross. I haven’t been back since.
Read moreThis is the first Flower Child that I've been to. They clearly label what is and isn't vegan on the menu. Do not go here for breakfast as the only vegan breakfast options is fresh fruit. Most of what's vegan for lunch/dinner are rice bowls or a selection of veggie sides that constitute a meal. Mine were fine, but they were doused in oil which wasn't appetizing. They are heavy on sauces, too.

delicious vegan options - Edit
This place is amazing; delicious vegan food and awesome staff. We’ve been here twice. I took my son who is still trying/adjusting/hesitant to plant based diet and he loved it. Will definitely return.

Roasted Veggies Done Right - Edit
I already knew two of the three items I would get on the Mix and Match Plate ($9) at Flower Child. First choice were the large cubes of Roasted Butternut Squash strung with ribbons of black kale and sweet morsels of toasted mulberries, all dressed in a maple chestnut vinaigrette. The charred Brussels Sprout--soaked in tart yuzu juice and glazed in a thin pungent golden miso with fragrant thai basil--were my favorite pick of the dish.
Read moreAs I stuttered over the third selection, the counter girl chimed in "My favorite is the Indian Spiced Cauliflower." Done. The roasted florets stained gold with turmeric that stand sweet with dates and slivers of almonds were a perfect finish to this side-dishes-as-a-meal meal.
Pros: vegan marked menu

Amazing flavor! - Edit
Plenty of vegan options. First time I went here I got 3 veggie sides: butternut squash, Brussels sprouts, and cauliflower. My husband got the forbidden rice bowl with tofu, and it had amazing flavor and the tofu had great texture, not rubbery or chewy. One of my new favorite restaurants.
