Original and innovative veggie dining - Edit
What is objectively apparent is that the chef here is highly skilled and innovative.
Read moreAn original concept restaurant ✨️
They take bookings on the hour only so as to synchronise the dinner service, a clever idea.
Minimal staffing, only 3 to 4 people working during a typical dinner service.
Expect an extended dining period, have patience and enjoy the pace of the evening with an extremely well accomplished array of small plates.
5 to 6 dishes are recommended for 2 people sharing.
We had perhaps one of the best meals in many a long year.
Outstanding dishes included;
♡ Black sesame encrusted Arancini with black rice.
♡ Herb dumplings.
♡ Seared Brussel sprouts
All vegan.
The dessert was also epic, I'd call it; "if clouds were made of chocolate".
Service was friendly and with clear instructions with regards to how best to order.
Already planning a return visit 😌
Pros: Everything

Good meal - Edit
Was glad to make it to this restaurant tucked away, and think it’s a shame I didn’t come across it sooner. The menu was varied, and we shared all of the vegan options. The food was perhaps slightly under-seasoned for our taste, but the flavours were interesting.
Read moreThe staff were really lovely and friendly, and it was nice to see a veggie/vegan restaurant so full.

Delicious, interesting, fancy food - Edit
Really interesting and delicious small plates, creative and detailed. Staff were super lovely and accommodating. The setting is classy and relaxed as well. However, the actual location of the restaurant is a little hard to find and in a run-down not very nice area.

Hidden gem with fantastic service - Edit
The food here was unlike anything I’ve had in Bristol and the seasonally changing menu was full of local produce. We shared all of the 5 vegan small plates and they were phenomenal. Whilst it was definitely on the pricier side I’ll definitely be going back!

Can I give it a million stars? - Edit
Complete local gem.
Read moreBooked in for a Friday evening. Flow offer three sittings throughout the evening - 6, 7 or 8pm (we went for 7).
The menu is all small plates, so we opted to share quite a few. The dishes come out as and when they are ready, as it's a small kitchen a d they cooke a few of the same at the same time. Basically you constantly end up with a plate or two on the table.
Highlights included the twiglets with cheese custard(!!!) and the gnocchi.
Huge shout out to the lovely staff who were clearly working hard. They were enthusiastic and keen to make recommendations.
Honestly, I'm struggling to find fault. I didn't take as many pictures as I wanted as I was too distracted by the food?
Perfect.
Pros: Perfect, So, so friendly, Local suppliers (Inc the drinks!)

Perfect vegetarian restaurant - Edit
Wow. What a find! Superb food, lovely atmosphere and excellent service. I cannot fault this restaurant and will definitely be back. We had 5 small plates to share, as advised by our friendly and helpful server, plus a dessert to share. It was freshly cooked and brought to the table when ready, with just the right amount of delay between dishes. I honestly don't want to tell anyone else about it because it is too nice to share!

Underwhelming - Edit
This was booked for at 30th birthday in October for a table in December. They emailed back explaining they may need to cancel because of a Christmas party but would let us know and they didn’t so we chased twice and got a response saying booking was fine to remain. Then two days before we received another email saying they were shutting the night we booked due to needing to move house which they apologised for then booked us in for the next night promising complimentary Prosecco for doing this. Although it would no longer be my 30th we didn’t mind because we had read such good things about the restaurant.
Read moreWe got there atmosphere was nice and it is always lovely to see veggie / vegan restaurants which are full! We sat down ordered our drinks which we had to wait 30 mins for. The table next to us who arrived after were apologised to for the rebooking and got Prosecco pretty much when they sat down. No Prosecco was given to us and I felt too awkward to ask.
I was disappointed with the menu. Being vegan - they recommended 5 plates for a table of two so we order one of every vegan item on the menu as that is all there was. Portions were small and not particularly well seasoned but it was nice to experience vegan food which was a bit more upmarket than your typical vegan burger. I didn’t feel it was enough food so we ended up eating churros from oowee vegan after!
Although staff were friendly when they came to the table. Staff didn’t appear to be particularly hurry for things to be taken to the tables. What I think happened is that 3 tables were booked in at 8, one of them being us and 2 other tables, one which was late - and they then waiting on all orders to be in from us to then make all the food together. This appeared to be the case as we all seemed to get the same dishes at the same time and I suppose this makes it easier for the chef as the dishes in some cases appeared to be quite fiddly dishes to make. I felt if staff had just communicated this with us I wouldn’t have minded so much but there was such a long wait between dishes it really felt very dragged out and very underwhelming when one small plate of food finally did arrive.
I would not go here again. We ate in some lovely cheaper and more satisfying fully vegan places in Bristol including an all vegan Chinese which was delicious. Really sad I couldn’t give this restaurant more but I wouldn’t give 5 anyway unless they changed fully vegan.

underwhelmed - Edit
Starting this off by stating that if this was a regular restaurant i’d be more impressed but for a small plates (not expensive but pricier for sure) my boyfriend and i were totally underwhelmed
Read moreas a vegetarian restaurant i did expect to see more vegan menu items but the waitress - full credit was very verbal that they can be vegan used - generally just by taking the flavoursome thing (cheese/egg) off the dish and putting it on the side. Options were okay but not inspiring, everything was drastically under seasoned but they do put salt on the table who knows maybe you’re supposed to do that yourself.
Honestly i’m probably being dramatic i was just pretty disappointed when i’d heard such great things - but maybe it was a bad night. i do have to say the servers were great, the service wasn’t a long time and the decor was nice, The price was okay for what we had (four small plates a bread starter and a bottle of wine) but not going to be running back

Well thought out menu - Edit
Nice mix of smaller dishes that worked well in combination. Service was excellent and dishes arrived individually over a couple of hours and offered a relaxed approach and time to savour the flavours of each dish. Would certainly visit again if we are in the area.

Unbelievably tasty - Edit
Call me pretentious but I love something that feels fancy on special occasions, came here with a large group for my birthday. Had a bit of a problem with myself and other vegan party members being handed non vegan stuff without being told it wasnt vegan but they quickly resolved it and made sure to let us know with every other dish.

Incredible, inventive menu - Edit
It was a belated birthday dinner for me with my dad and my stepmum and neither of them are vegan so they were slightly dubious... when the first small plate arrived they were amazed by the inventiveness of the food. Every time another small plate arrived to our table they were amazed again!!! We will return very soon.
Read moreThe setting (albeit difficult to find) was lovely - the decor and the atmosphere were top-notch and I’m slightly deaf so finding a place with very quiet music was a dream for me.
What a real gem this place is. Pairing unusual ingredients with each other takes real know-how and we happily munched our way through SEVERAL plates and they were all sent back completely empty! Congrats to the amazing chef. X

Seasonal ingredients, imaginative preparation - Edit
Really enjoyed dinner here, a great example that with a bit of effort, vegan/vegetarian doesn’t have to be dull. Considering the quality of food, GBP40 for dinner for two including drinks was pretty good value.

very nice food and atmosphere - Edit
As a vegan, the menu is slightly limited but everything we had was really nice. It was seasonal, well presented, tasty with loads of flavour and texture. The service was great and the food came really quickly. The atmosphere was great in there. Would recommend to vegetarians and vegans. Will be going back for nights out, the price was also very good, we had two drinks, starters, mains and shared a dessert for £42. The style is tapas so you get smaller dishes to share, I like this style of eating when you are trying somewhere and something new.

Wow! Great ambience, great evening - Edit
It was great to be in a space that was edgie and sophistacted as well as being veggie/vegan. For once I didn't feel I was compromising just to get a vegan meal.
Read moreWe had a truly tapas meal, rather than the botched affair normally on offer. The 'main' dishes were enough to share in 4, we had 4 of them; we had 4 appetiser portions; a sausage roll (which comes in 4); one frites and one bread. Oh, and 3 desserts! This was plenty for 4, which included 2 gluttons. The price was more than accommodating and the alcohol is very fairly priced. So overall £27 each for food, wine/beer/cocktail and coffees.
The service was great, one of the most charming waitresses I've ever had, we were all seduced. They were very accomodating on a busy night when we had no reservation. We had drinks and some food at the bar and then moved to a table.
The best meal out I've had this year!
Pros: Ambience & staff, sophisticated food, Price
Cons: Stools rather than chairs, Let's have more beer choice

Amazing food, but expensive - Edit
The restaurants concept is to order several small dishes (we had for dishes for two persons) and to share those. The food arrives when it's done, so not necessarily together.
Read moreThe food itself was lovely, with plenty of vegan options, and really out of the ordinary. The interior is also perfect, very chic but urban, with am open kitchen. The only negative points are that the food is relatively expensive (£6-8 for one dish), and that we had to wait a very long time for one dish, which arrived much later than the rest of the food - and it was a salad, which then had to serve as dessert. The place is a bit hard to find by the way, and looks a bit out of place in a somewhat desolate side street.

The place may be nice for someone, but in all honesty I have tried so many better and cheaper places that this! Went home too light, both in terms of quantity of food ingested (was still hungry) and wallet...

Exciting stuff - Edit
I booked this restaurant for a work do and it did not disappoint, even for the non-vegetarians . We shared a lot of the small plates and they were really inventive and tasty. I was a bit disappointed there weren't more vegan options on the menu but several of them could be made vegan. The chocolate cake with blackberry sauce was gorgeous. I've taken off one star because the service was quite slow even though it wasn't busy and because they didn't manage to provide vegan spread instead of butter, despite me asking, which is disappointing.
