Wow! Great ambience, great evening - Edit

It was great to be in a space that was edgie and sophistacted as well as being veggie/vegan. For once I didn't feel I was compromising just to get a vegan meal.

We had a truly tapas meal, rather than the botched affair normally on offer. The 'main' dishes were enough to share in 4, we had 4 of them; we had 4 appetiser portions; a sausage roll (which comes in 4); one frites and one bread. Oh, and 3 desserts! This was plenty for 4, which included 2 gluttons. The price was more than accommodating and the alcohol is very fairly priced. So overall £27 each for food, wine/beer/cocktail and coffees.

The service was great, one of the most charming waitresses I've ever had, we were all seduced. They were very accomodating on a busy night when we had no reservation. We had drinks and some food at the bar and then moved to a table.

The best meal out I've had this year!

Pros: Ambience & staff, sophisticated food, Price

Cons: Stools rather than chairs, Let's have more beer choice

Amazing little place with great food - Edit

Managed to get a short notice table after a cancellation and couldn't be happier at our choice. Staff were great and friendly, food was amazing and fairly quick, only downside was we found it a little hard to find. We'll be back for sure!

Amazing food, but expensive - Edit

The restaurants concept is to order several small dishes (we had for dishes for two persons) and to share those. The food arrives when it's done, so not necessarily together.
The food itself was lovely, with plenty of vegan options, and really out of the ordinary. The interior is also perfect, very chic but urban, with am open kitchen. The only negative points are that the food is relatively expensive (£6-8 for one dish), and that we had to wait a very long time for one dish, which arrived much later than the rest of the food - and it was a salad, which then had to serve as dessert. The place is a bit hard to find by the way, and looks a bit out of place in a somewhat desolate side street.

I would not go back - Edit

The place may be nice for someone, but in all honesty I have tried so many better and cheaper places that this! Went home too light, both in terms of quantity of food ingested (was still hungry) and wallet...

Exciting stuff - Edit

I booked this restaurant for a work do and it did not disappoint, even for the non-vegetarians . We shared a lot of the small plates and they were really inventive and tasty. I was a bit disappointed there weren't more vegan options on the menu but several of them could be made vegan. The chocolate cake with blackberry sauce was gorgeous. I've taken off one star because the service was quite slow even though it wasn't busy and because they didn't manage to provide vegan spread instead of butter, despite me asking, which is disappointing.

Pros: good menu for sharing, vegan options
