We went to Flour Flour after doing the Wat Pha Lat trail. There are some vegan options, namely a sandwich with vegan cheese and some cookies. The sandwiches were tasty.
It is although a bit pricey for Thailand’s standards. It was 550 BAHT (~15€) for 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks.
Best thing about this spot is its design. We ordered peanut butter smoothie with jello (120b) and lemon cake (60). The cake was awful, stale. The smoothie was very average. Maybe other things are good, but we were super dissatisfied with what we ordered. Very overpriced for what you get.
This small bakery and coffee shop offers a wide range of clearly labelled vegan breads. I actually really like the wholewheat as it is just what I was looking for, which was a sandwich style loaf. It is just the right size for a sandwich or toast and it tastes pretty good, too. I haven't tried the sourdough ones yet but they are quite a bit more.
The cute cafe also offers a clearly labelled vegan bacon sandwich on the menu although I haven't tried it yet but it was nice to see there is a lunch open.
They also have coffees but they charge 40b for almond milk option so they get the prize for charging the most money for non-dairy milk literally in the whole of Chiang Mai. Almond Breeze is 20 baht a carton and would make at least one coffee so not sure how they can justify it.
I won't be stopping here for a coffee but I will buy the bread again.
