Super cute place - Edit
This place is gorgeous, the menu offers a big variety of vegan dishes, the staff is super friendly and the food is great. The plates are super neatly arranged, the black forest pancakes even came with a gold finish. The food and drinks are very tasty and we enjoyed spending time here very much. It is a bit pricey but it's worth it

Menu looks nice - Edit
But I had the Mac and Cheese, unfortunately is was quite dry and no cheese to speak of? The other meals I saw come out looked nice. I’d like to come back, maybe they had an off day?

Excellent Vegan Restaurant - Edit
We had made a reservation which is advisable as the restaurant is very popular in the weekend. We ordered the “Fried Chick’n” Waffle and the Truffle Mac N Cheese. Both were delicious. Large portions too. (I had asked about it the Breakfast Burrito but it was sold out already at 11:00) We had Flat White with Oat Milk also which were great too. Excellent service. Very nice ambiance.

Vegan chicken waffles - Edit
Really liked the vegan chicken waffles from here. I’ve never seen that as a vegan option before! Heaps of cool drink options too from a matcha range to caramel coconut lattes.

Lovely lunch - Edit
I love finding places where everything on the menu is vegan and you're not scanning for that one thing on the menu. The food was so good I grabbed a takeaway for the next meal. Happy staff, happy customers, no one flinching about a breastfeeding mum at the next table; all just as life should be.

A terrific find - Edit
We had the Kabuki Bowl 10/10, the Mac N Cheese Mug 9/10 and mini pancakes 6/10 (they were cold) but still ate. We were a bit disappointed that they had run out of soy milk for our soy latte, on a Friday afternoon and also ran out of Chick’n for the waffles, but that’s a small thing.

Fantastic brunch spot! - Edit
This cafe has a cozy, retro vibe and the staff are so lovely. We got strawberry matchas, which were amazing. The food was fairly good value and was presented beautifully. We left feeling very satisfied.

We really like the new venue in Fremantle, lots more seating, fab aircon, and a really cool vibe. It's fresh and inviting and even the coffee cups are great.
The food is much nicer too, a huge inprovement, we are looking forward to going back. Hope to see new things on the menu soon.
Really gorgeous looking cakes in the cabinet, sadly we didn't have room to try one! The Thai Noodle Salad was really tasty thanks to the peanut satay sauce. Sadly the vegan Chicken and Waffle was a bit disappointing as it was all cold, we assumed it was supposed to be served this way as it wasn't even slightly warm, it was actually cold. I would have preferred it have been warmed up, or the waffle to have been cooked fresh straight from the pan. The coleslaw was really chunky. We had to wait a while for the drinks, but the food arrived quickly. Overall, considering there aren't many vegan/veggie eateries in Perth it was a relief to find somewhere that is meat free and serves dishes that look great.

We tried the lavender matcha drink with mango, taro and ginger. It was a bit sweet from the mango puree and milky. I liked it.

The smashed avocado had just enough avo to spread over the two slices of bread. The pumpkin element was really just a smear on the plate. Nicely presented but could have been a bit more generous.

There are currently two small tables outside.

Good - Edit
freshly prepared, good vegan food, but nothing crazy. apart from the Caesar salad and iced tea I had, we shared a “peanut butter slice”, which was really good.😄so it is more suitable to have a coffee and something alongside it, rather than a full lunch/meal.

Bad service - Edit
I ordered the pancakes, was told that they didn't have any which was ok I just ordered something else instead, I then saw pancakes come out for someone who has ordered after me, when I asked about this I was met with a blank stare and then a I'll see what I can do, then nothing... very strange place. Paid $66 or 2 drinks that were really bad and a bowel of barley with supermarket salad leaves and a tablespoon of peanut butter...

Nice pancakes - Edit
I ordered a soy iced maple latte, a long black and the strawberry pancakes. It was hot again and we sat outside under an umbrella. You get the menu, order at the kitchen which is a couple of doors down. The strawberry pancakes were nice with coconut cream and fruit. They were filling too. The iced maple latte was delicious and the long black was nice. The menu is small. I noticed they had pastries this morning. I did go on the day I arrived and had a peanut butter blondie which was delicious.

Great location, tasty food - Edit
Flora and Fauna is a beautiful spot. Tucked away in an alley with a lovely “living room” and balcony bench to dine at.
Read moreThis place is 98% vegan. Which is frustrating. As far as I can tell the only non-vegan product they sell is cow milk.
Still, the food was great. We had and enjoyed the Mac and cheese and the Thai bowl, which had a great peanut sauce.

Lovely cafe with an indoor part and a spacious outdoors area. It is a vegetarian cafe with all food just happening to be vegan.

I went there twice and was surprised both times by their creativity: at Flora&Fauna you won’t get the usual Avocado Toast or Mac’n Cheese, but much better versions of those usual vegan dishes. Really delicious, creative vegan food and lovely, cosy interior as well!
