Best falafel wraps in town, and it's totally vegan. If you're feeling peckish when you're out in the city and you'd like a quick on-the-go meal, FLFL is the place to go. Cheap, quick, and with options to eat in or take out - it's perfect.
Read moreThe falafel is beautifully crisp on the outside, fluffy and warm on the inside. You get a nice coleslaw in the wrap, plus a lot of creamy tahina sauce and some spicy sauce (they always ask if you would like it spicy).
I remember when they first opened up at the Kapteingebouw on the Zernike Campus of the RUG - I used to go with my colleagues every Friday to get a falafel wrap for lunch.
Now it is so nice to see how the company has expanded and had opened multiple shops up in Groningen and now even Utrecht! Super happy that the company is doing well, I'll be excited to see how they grow even more in the future.
Pros: Quick lunch, Options to sit inside or outside, Goedkoop, hè?!
Cons: Genuinely no downsides

If you read my title at any other falafelbar in town; they're lying! This falafel tastes fresh and homemade. And it's a good sized portion that fills me up without feeling a junkfood afterdip like so many other places who offer fried food.

Probably the best falafel one can obtain in Groningen. It is always busy here because of that. The XL Wrap is filling and delicious. Unfortunately not all dishes are vegan.
