Healthy, organic, cheap - Edit

Your best option in touristic Nyhavn!

Primarily vegetarian salad bar, with options for chicken and salmon if you want to bring carnivores.

They also have sandwiches, avocado and hummus - just make sure to mention if you're vegan, since they're regular bread contains dairy (the do have vegan bread though).

For salads, you can choose small, medium or large - same price for eat in or take away. I opted for a medium sized salad (arugula, red cabbage, artichoke, quinoa and beans) and had a freshly made with watermelon, nectarines and oranges. I paid the surprisingly low amount of 80 DKK, and it filled me up. This is not only cheap for Copenhagen, but particularly for this area as well, and even more so, as it is an organic place.

The food is fresh, nutritional and healthy. The hummus is vegan (a lot of time places in Denmark like to add sour creme, so you should always enquire) and the only vegan dressing apart from that is the apple-lime-mint.

Staff is friendly, speaks English and they are knowledgeable about veganism.

If you're not completely full after your meal and in the mood for a sweet treat, you should visit ISObar across the bridge, they have a variety of vegan ice cream, or Det Rene Brød if you're looking for a place to try a Danish pastry. Both places are in walkable distance.
