No they're really nice people. Love the carribean flavours, nice veg options. Relaxed atmosphere but didn't have to wait too long even though all of the seats were filled. I like how they give you a little lemon in your water.

Cozy, casual restaurant. Polite and warm service, fresh vegetables; all meals are made on request and can be modified to your tastes. Try the Roti Platter.

Absolutely delicious, authentic Caribbean! - Edit
This place is by far one of my favorite spots in Ottawa. The food is fresh and flavorful, there are veggie and vegan options and the family that owns the restaurant is very kind and hospitable.
My grandfather is from Barbados, so I know a good Caribbean meal, and let me tell you, this is as authentic as it gets. What's even better is that the chef has vegan options and platters! Everything is made by hand, with care. This food is for healing!
Definitely must check this place out!!!
