Everything perfect - Edit
We ordered falafel, cauliflower and a salad for a starter. Amazing taste, and really good quality of food. Portions are rather small so if you want to go for just starter you should order few.
Read moreMain dishes were the same as starters-perfect. Gnocchi with truffle paste were such a unique experience and butter chicken met the expectations we got as a more classic dish.
Everything we finished with a cup of espresso and both dessert a cheesecake and chocolate mousse and must say cheesecake won as a the best dessert we ever tried.
Pros: Amazing taste, Original, Dessert

We went there for brunch and had waffles and scrambled tofu toast, both delicious. The truffled fries were absolutely amazing as well! Atmosphere was nice and service was friendly.

Disappointing - Edit
After hearing a lot about this place, we made a dinner reservation. The place was packed--way too much so given the current Corona restrictions, and people did not wear masks whilst walking around. We were placed right next to the rest room, which meant countless traffic.
Read moreThe menu was limited to 4 main dishes, one of which was a burger. One companion ordered it and described as basic vegan burger one could find anywhere.
The other two of us were content with our two different main dishes, but neither was anything special.
The cheesecake dessert was outstanding. The server tried to up-sell us into buying two (we shared one) which was annoying. That should never happen. I would return for dessert only!
Pros: all vegan , delicious cheesecake
Cons: limited dinner selections, too crowded, very noisy

Flavor Bastards, without much flavor - Edit
Admittedly rather stupid to expect much from an Indian dish at a non-Indian restaurant, but the butter chicken was really quite disappointing. Not bad, but tasted like a generic European take on “curry”. They also charge 19 DKK for 400 ml of tap water lol.

Best vegan place in CPH - Edit
I’ve been here three times, twice for brunch where I would recommend the scrambled tofu, and once for dinner where I possibly had the best vegan burger I’ve ever tried. They also have lovely drinks!

One of my favorite spots in Copenhagen, but watch out for the drinks - Edit
This is one of those restaurants you can confidently take meat-eaters to show them how good vegan food can be. My only complaint is that for whatever reason the drink menu isn’t fully vegan, and the non-vegan drinks aren’t marked

Cosy restaurant with great brunch - Edit
We went for a Sunday brunch and were not disappointed. All vegan, a warm and cosy restaurant with delicious food, like avo & scrambled tofu on toast and special waffles.

Great for a vegan brunch - Edit
Flavour Bastards have creative and nicely arranged vegan options for a brunch. Sweet tooths and all those who prefer savoury dishes will find excellent options. I can really recommend to try one of the curry waffles

One of the best veg burgers in town - Edit
I had one of the best veg burgers in CPH here, it's absolutely delicious! And the sides are awesome too, I had really good truffle fries with my burger. There's an epic cocktail bar connected to the restaurant, as well. A must-visit for vegans in Nørrebro!

Great food - but watch out for non-vegan drinks! - Edit
In general a really nice experience. The food was great - especially the desserts - and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The one thing that let it down was the drinks. Turns out they are collaborating with a bar (still don't quite understand how it works, but had to pay separate bills for food and drinks - also a bit inconvenient) and some of the cocktails contain egg and milk but this is not at all marked on the menu. Fortunately the waitress warned us, but all very confusing and then made us feel we had to check if all the food was vegan too.

Consistent good quality from starter to main

Well done and creative cheese sauce, salads and Indian vegan meal. Naans are solid and tasty.
Meatball good with couscous, yet bit spicy.
Great service, professional, care and smile (thanks @ lady called Filipa) tip: go early!
Price ratio is good, might for some be slightly above average yet quality is there. Portions are reasonable, order roughly 1 more than usual.
Lemonade is a good try. Intense and authentic.
Overall experience: positive, creative, well done.

Terrible service.. the waiter snapped at us when we said we tried to order online.. then he said there was only burgers left, fair enough but when we came back to pick up the food, someone came in ordering the pasta dish we wanted .. so thumps down for lying and also the sweet potato fries was not crispy at all

Okay, but expensive - Edit
To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed with Flavour Bastards. But it also have it's pluses.
Read moreLet's start with the bad things, and end with the good.
First and foremost, notice that it's placed in a street with a lot of bars, and the place itself also shares room with a cocktail bar. So it's a bit noisy. So if you are introvert or noise sensitive like me, it's probably not a place for you.
Next, the room is quite small, and they only offers bar stools. And that's not the most comfortable way to eat in my opinion.
The food is quite good however. But way to expensive, compared to what you get. I had a vegan mac and cheese, and for 135 DKK I had a very small portion, at a size of a small lunch meal.
I really want to be a nice ambassador to Flavour Bastards. And I don't want my introvert personality affect my review too much. So I give it 3 stars. If they make their meal size a bit larger, I will change it to 4 stars.
Pros: Fine food
Cons: Expensive/small meals, Only bar stools
