Serves meat, vegan options available. Part of chain restaurant offering Mongolian stir-fry meals. The main feature is the create-your-own-stirfry bar where you choose the veggies and even faux meat (vegan except Quorn), and have it stir-fried. Most sauces are vegan, and there is a chart showing which are. Ask the staff to cook your dish separately.

So delicious and label’s everything that is vegan well!

I love that they have everything labeled to show you what sauces are vegan so you don’t have to play the guessing game. The food is delicious. You choose your noodle type, vegetables, protein and sauces. They do have a vegan protein option. Then you can request it be made as an allergy item so they won’t cook it on the flat top with others who have meat

Pros: It’s delicious!, They label everything , Allergy option so it gets cooked separately

Cons: They used to have BBQ tempeh, they don’t anymore , None , None

As good as you would expect

Flat Top is as good as you can expect from a chain restaurant. They offer a wide variety of veggies, grains, and sauces, as well as some fake meat options. They also offer a stick that you can put in your dish to indicate that it should be cooked in a separate wok, which I appreciate. Overall the quality of the food is okay and sometimes the buffet area is messy. But in general… it’s a solid option (especially when going with non vegans).

Pros: Lots of options , Cooked separately

so so so good! i love making my own bowl, so many vegan and veggie topping options. i fill my bowl to the brim, and you get so much bang for your buck, yum yum!
also, be sure to try the prickly pear iced tea! because of it, my husband and i bought prickly pear syrup to mix into our drinks!

Love It

Try the Veat! It’s a really yummy mock meat you can put in your bowl. They also have tempeh and seitan, both very good!

Great meal.

A very tasty and healthy meal. Not complicated, just fill up the bowl, choose your sauce, and let them cook. The fake meat is the best I've ever had, and there are 4 different kinds.

good food - a little complicated

This was my first time here and my waitress informed me how the whole thing works. Lots of different steps and color-coding, far too many instructions after a long day of travel when your blood sugar is low. But the food was great and they had plenty of vegan choices that were clearly marked. Sometimes I'm a bit of a germaphobe - so the whole placing of various sticks in my food when they've just been sitting out on a table, etc was a little bothersome. However, for an additional $4 you can eat as much as you want or order food to take home. That convenience made up for everything else. Side note: They are located in the University Park Mall right next to the Massage Envy.

Pros: clearly marked items, variety, $4 and you can take a meal home

Cons: placing wooden and color-coded sticks in your food, instructions can be a bit convoluted
