Serves meat, vegan options available. Has a chickpea burger and vegetarian dishes based around it; can be made vegan - ask for the non-vegan sauce to be removed.

Vikingplace - Edit
There are three places. We went to the pub. Best choice as far as cosiness goes. There is no real heating, but the fireplace. The food makes up for that. Really delicious!

Nice vegan food, but service way too fast - Edit
Flamsbrygga consists of parts, the brewery, a hotel and a restaurant named Flamstova. I went to Flamstova. They have clearly marked vegan dishes on their menu, one starter, one main course and one dessert. The dishes were flavourful. The service was friendly, but unfortunately way too quick. We ate 3 courses in less than one hour. The main course was served while our (just) empties bords were still on the table.

Cons: Service way too quick

This seems like an odd reason to down vote a good restaurant.

A couple of options, decently good - Edit
Wouldn’t call it “the best ever,” but I was happy to have some labeled vegan options in this small town. The chili/stew was wholesome.

Ok Fläm, we can work with this - Edit
a couple of clearly marked vegan options: a vegan burger and a “thai-style” stew with rice. Both were pretty tasty. Would love to see more options, of course, but a pleasant surprise as we passed through.

Good soup - Edit
There are three places attached to this hotel with different hours and menus: a cafe, a restaurant, and a brewery.
Read moreThe brewery does in fact have a chickpea burger, but I wasn't sure if the aioli was the only thing that contained egg and dairy. When I asked, I was told "I guess if you leave the aioli off then it is vegan." Plus there was a 45 minute wait so we didn't eat there.
The cafe is cafeteria-style and I couldn't tell if they had anything vegan just from looking.
In my opinion, the best option was the restaurant which had two dishes on the menu labeled "can be vegan." One was a sweet potato soup which I ordered and enjoyed (it's a big bowl but still on the lighter side) and the other was a risotto. Just make sure you specify that you want the vegan version because it doesn't come that way automatically.
The soup was tasty and a reasonable portion, but expect to spend more than you want to (160NOK for the soup and about 250NOK for the risotto).
Pros: tasty, good portion size, labeled vegan on the menu
Cons: expensive

Found this place from previous reviewer. There are a few vegetarian options and vegan possible with exclusion of sauces. Helpful staff. Nice outdoor area if weather is good.

Delicious chickpea burger and desert! - Edit
This restaurant has a great atmosphere. It has lots of character, including Viking decor and all wooden furniture. Only place in Flåm that has an option for vegans. They have only ONE main course vegan option. The chickpea burger can be made vegan by removing the sauce. You just have to ask. Burger was huge and delicious! They also have a vegan chocolate cake for desert which was quite tasty. It’s not listed on the menu unfortunately, so you have to ask. Food was on the pricier side, but then again everything in Norway is expensive.

Cons: Only one vegan option for main course
