Pretty good pineapple fried rice - Edit
Was in town visiting a friend and ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice. Was very good (albeit slightly salty) and a very generous portion size. There are three other clearly marked "plant based" options on the dinner menu that also looked pretty good. Would recommend this place (though maybe ask for less salt).

Good options - Edit
I’ve been hesitant to try 5 West since they introduced vegan options. I had the vegan sandwich which was ok. The fries were really good but the sandwich was pretty greasy. I think they use TiNDLE patties so it wasn’t necessarily out of this world. I’ve heard good things about the pineapple rice so I might try that in the future.

Delicious Vegan food - Edit
My husband and I both had the Vegan sandwich which is a crispy chicken sandwich with lemon vegan aioli, carmelized onions, vegan cheese, lettuce, and tomato. We also had the Szechuan cauliflower as a side which was delicious and healthy since it’s not fried. They even have mocktails not shown on their regular drink menu and I had the coconut breeze which has coconut syrup (waitress showed me the bottle and I confirmed it had the certified vegan symbol) and blackberry soda with mint leaves.

We were pleased when Five West recently added vegan options to their menu.
Read moreSo far we've tried the cauliflower appetizer and the mushroom tacos 2 times and enjoyed them both times.
We've also had the pineapple fried rice and the mock chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries.
Glad to see that they're making their menu more inclusive because they have a nice patio.

Four Clearly Labeled Vegan Options. - Edit
I had the pineapple fried rice, my wife had the "chicken" sandwich. Both were very good. There were a couple of sides and an appetizer that were vegan as well.
