Beautiful spot looking over the Kaiapoi River.

Update June 2020: unfortunately a lot of the vegan options are no longer available. You can get bangers and mash with beyond sausage, two salads, a burger (only at dinner time though) and a variety of fried things (onion rings, chips, polenta fries). Disappointing to see the vegan options reduced and that what’s left is stuff that is very easily heated and put together.

Original review July 2019: Lots of vegan options including tasty jackfruit tacos, dumplings and a great selection of craft beers and cider. All the beer they make themselves is vegan (apparently some of the owners are vegan themselves). Can get busy on a sunny day and there can be a bit of wait to order as it’s all done at the bar.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Great drink selection , Beautiful spot by river

Cons: Expensive , Can be a long wait to order and/or get food, Can get busy

Very happy we went here!

Beautiful Stylish restaurant, we had pulled jackfruit tacos which came with wedges and an Indian curry served with rice AND roti, both vegan without adjustment. Awesome to see a great brewery to!

Pros: Numerous proper good vegan meals, USB ports at the table to charge phones 👍🏽, Nice and warm on a cold winter night
