Good, but needs more vegan options - Edit

It's great for vegetarians, and good for dragging those omni friends along, but it is very much lacking in vegan options. What they do have is pretty good though, and they're very friendly about double checking things for the paranoid ones out there (myself included). For reference, went last winter.

Pros: Food was good, Accommodating staff

Cons: Limited vegan options

Amazing food! - Edit

We ate here on December 26, 2012. The cafe was cozy, the service was friendly and fast. There were a lot of vegetarian and (and even a few vegan) selections on the menu. The portobello goat cheese burger was the best veg. burger sandwich ever!!! The sweet chili glazed eggplant wrap was also very good. Prices are reasonable.

Pros: excellent food, quiet location, friendly staff

Vegetarian friendly - few vegan options - Edit

Mostly vegetarian friendly - one or two vegan options. The stir fry veggies in the Thai peanut sauce was great.

Pros: Vegetarian friendly, Vegan options

Cons: Few vegan options, No vegan dessert

Delicious, consistent and great options - Edit

We obsessed over 5 loaves as soon as we saw the menu- it was even better after eating the food. In our visit to Charleston we kept wanting to go back to 5 loaves because the food was so tasty and memorable. It is one of my best memories of the city!

Pros: Options of food, Taste, Flexible choices for Lunch and Dinner

Great, high quality food - Edit

Ate here tonight - the food was excellent. I ordered the arugula salad, butternut squash ravioli and white chocolate cranberry cake. Everthing was good, but the ravioli, with beets, cranberries, and a lovely light sauce, was extra special. The service was also great and wine bottles are 1/2 price on Wednesday & Saturday evening! What a deal. Lots of veg choices and a few vegan ones, too. This place is a real gem for vegetarians looking for a nice place to eat in Charleston.

Pros: Great service, High quality food

Cons: Noisy in the back room
