There is only one vegan wrap but it is tasty and has simple fresh ingredients, tastes kind of like you would make home.

Bad service - Edit
We went inside and the person responsible was on the phone. She gave one look to us and kept talking on the phone. No problem, it gave us time to decide. After 10 minutes of waiting and having already decided on what to eat, she was still talking on the phone, did not even try to tell us that she would be with us any minute or ask us if we could be a little more patient, nothing.

Limited vegan options - Edit
I came to Fitchen for a salad on the go and was looking forward to discovering another good salad bar in Ghent. However, I was rather disappointed by the offer and the service. First, it took quite some convincing to put the salad in my own container but they did it eventually. Then I asked about the vegan options and I could choose between tofu or avocado. I try to limit soy and avocado use but thought to give it a chance, being thankful that they had vegan options. The options for the dressing were even more limited and offered only lemon-olive oil dressing. The dressing part also went wrong, even after mentioning being vegan several times they put a non-vegan sauce on the tofu, when I asked to be sure. The tofu was taken out and replaced, but I found it quite a waste definitely as I was not sure if it would not be thrown away after because they were acting jokingly about who would want to eat that vegan food... It might have been a wrong impression but they can hopefully pay attention to this :)
Read moreHonestly, I was quite surprised by all this and not impressed by the salad in the end. It was quite boring and not that tasty. But maybe I was just expecting too much, being used to the creative masterminds of SLA and BE O versbar.
They announced some new vegan options on their facebook including tempeh and vegan cheese. So please go check it out, just pay attention they don't accidentally give you something non-vegan.
