Not really - Edit
Poor burgers, smoothies and donuts. What's more, the staff doesn't know the ingredients of the dishes - they served me a burger with dairy sauces even though I'd asked them if everything in it was vegan.

Quite good - Edit
Simple dishes that work well. Could use a bit more flavor but was worth a visit!

Great for lunch - Edit
This is a vegetarian restaurant, so if you're vegan you need to ask what's vegan on the menu (the dumplings and pancakes are not vegan). They offer mostly fast food and service is very fast. The burger I had was tasty (Polish style, with buckwheat).

Cons: Menu doesn't state what's vegan and what isn't

Will go back next time - Edit
We were so lucky to get a table in this cosy cafe, because it had just started snowing outside and lots of people came in after us, but there was no more room. I had a tasty pasta and my husband had a burger (with three chips - is that a thing?).
Read moreThere was a bit of a misunderstanding, because the woman who served me was annoyed because I didn't have change. We'd just arrived in Poland and gone to an ATM, and hadn't had a chance to get change. I tried to explain that, but I don't think she understood. I think she was cross that I didn't search my purse anyway. I should have just pretended to look. I offered to pay by card but she waved me away. Not sure if they didn't take them?
I wanted to go back the next day, to try the soup and pierogi, but I felt a bit uncomfortable about it.
Pros: Cosy, Close to centre of old town
Cons: Hard to get a table because it's so popular

Delicious! - Edit
I had a soy milk based smoothie and the carrot burger. Be warned the "double" is huge! It was very tasty and the roast potatoes on the side were amazing. My boyfriend had the Italian burger but he said it was dry. Be warned the pierogi all have egg, so there wasn't much in the way of authentic polish options for vegans.

Cons: egg in the pierogi :-(

Very Central Spot for Veggies in Warsaw - Edit
This is a great little spot on the main tourist promenade in Warsaw, serving veggie burgers, pastas, salads, and a good range of beer. I had the 'Hindi' burger, an only-vaguely-spicy chick pea and coconut concoction, and was very pleased with it. That said, they could do with upping the side portions a little - I got a grand total of two small potato wedges. That gripe aside, this is excellent value for money, and provides quick and tasty food.

Perfect for light lunch and burgers - Edit
Perfect location for UW students, and near the Old Town square. There aren't usually too many people there, and the staff is awfully nice. Interiors lightly decorated and friendly. Although it's a vegetarian place, vegan and easily veganised meals are clearly marked. There are also vegan desserts. Soups are cheap and the rest of the menu is reasonably priced, though the portions are not too big (but enough) - apart from burgers

Great location and not-so-great food - Edit
Location seems to be one of the few advantages of this place. I found it very convenient being able to eat something vegan just outside of the university, where I was attending a conference for a couple of days. Another positive thing is friendly staff. But, like they say, the proof of a pudding is in the eating, and what are ate there was average burgers and barely eatable salad (undercooked chickpeas? come on…). I also really didn’t like that they’re using disposable plates and cutlery. To sum up: if you’re nearby and in need of a quick lunch, give it a try. If you have more time and higher expectations, try luck somewhere else.

Nice spot close to the University - Edit
This new place is a good option to have in touristy Krakowskie Przedmiescie, with a nice outside terrace to escape from the crowd.
Read moreThe menu is entirely vegetarian (pasta, pancakes, pierogi) with some vegan options (soup, burgers and salads).
The burgers are ok but a bit disappointing, specially if Krowarzywa is your standard! They also have fresh juices and smoothies and staff is very friendly.
