Vegan Backfisch on a fishing cutter

I didn’t expect a lot when I came to Peenemünde as there are just a handful restaurants in this small village. I was positively surprised when a traditional fish bistro on a boat advertised a vegan „Backfisch“, a fried fish sandwich. I had to try it immediately and it was quite good! For vegetarians they offer the same sandwich and add remoulade, sadly they didn’t have a vegan option for this. Still amazed by the fact that I found a vegan fish sandwich at the German Baltic coast.

Pros: Vegan fish alternative on a fish boat, Delicious

Cons: No vegan remoulade
