limited vegan options - Edit
Food is good but choices are very limited for vegans, which is disappointing. I’ve had the chia superfood bowl and avocado toast (no eggs, sub potatoes).

Good chia superfood bowl, but could use more vegan options - Edit
I like the chia superfood bowl but that’s pretty much the only vegan thing, and the almond butter toast’s bread contains honey, so that isn’t fully vegan. Their potatoes are decent and I like their avocado toast — remove the egg and add potatoes. However, I agree with the other reviewer that there should be more options, especially more kid friendly options. It’s almost 2024. It shouldn’t be hard for First Watch to have some vegan pancakes and/or French toast. Those are easy to convert.

Good for lacto-ova vegetarians, not vegans! - Edit
I have wanted to love First Watch for years. Both locations are convenient and prominent one of which is by one of my clinics over the years I have enjoyed some of their dishes including their açai bowls, superfoods bowl, and my favorite is the hearty vegetable soup. Unfortunately, they change their menu frequently and many times these options are not available. Especially the hearty vegetable soup which is often taking a backseat to Italian wedding soup to the horror of the average vegan. I call frequently to see if they have the delicious veggie soup and most days, alas they don’t.
Read moreI really wish they would come up with some vegan pancakes or other such items for children because it is hard for my little ones to go and not have the option to get these breakfast items they love making at home. In fact, there are not a lot of options for kids at this place with a vegan diet. They do have some really good unique items like their kale tonics that are refreshing. During Covid their service has not been great and avoid going there on weekends as the crowds can be pretty robust, however they are really good about honoring their online reservations which is a very convenient feature. Both the Battlefield and sunshine location are typically pretty crowded and they also closed by 2 PM so make sure you go before then. It is always a good idea to call and make sure they have items on the vegan side in stock. I feel that they have a lot of options for lacto-ova vegetarian‘s but the vegan menu could use more work.
Pros: Good superfoods bowl and açaí, Cool atmosphere and online reservations wait time, Good locations
Cons: Often out of stock on vegan items , More veg than vegan items , Need more kid items for vegans
