Visiting Florida

The server was not very knowledgeable about what was plant based but she found out quickly for us. Everything is packed with flavor. I got the Happy Noodle Soup at a heat of 2 and it was perfect.

Exactly what I needed

I had the chia seed bowl with nut butter toast and a kale juice and hot lemon water. Everything was so delicious and I felt great all day. #Veganuary

Pros: Many fresh vegan and vegetarian options, Perfect for going out with non veg family, Incorporated healthy as mainstream

Cons: Very busy , 2 in our party served before others /5 minutes, Not enough restaurants like this.

None of the pancakes there are vegan, even the multigrain, because they contain dairy and eggs. How did you get a vegan pancake at First Watch?

Vegan Brunch!

The avo toast is unreal! Thick layer of topping on delicious bread! I just subbed the eggs for breakfast potatoes. Highly recommend! Can't wait for one to open closer to me!

Pros: Delicious food, Great atmosphere/friendly staff, Chain so you can go in other cities!

Bad place for vegans

the bread is not vegan (you can google the ingredients to confirm this, it contains honey) so the almond butter toast isn't an option, the chia bowl is vegan but the granola also has honey in it so you'll have to ask them to make you one without it (waitress confirmed this) and there's no nondairy creamer or milk for your coffee. so basically chia pudding with no granola is the only real vegan option here that has no animal products

Not best vegan choice

I have to admit that the first few times I ate at First Watch, I liked it. However, my last two visits were such that I probably won’t go back.

I ordered the veggie sandwich with pesto. I ordered it without cheese and my sister ordered the same with cheese. Both came with cheese.

I did not send it back because I know that it would have been thrown into the garbage. 40% of all food gets wasted in this country, which is more of a crime than my eating a sandwich with cheese.

The next time I ordered the same sandwich it did not have cheese. However, it had been cooked on the griddle next to bacon, and the bread had absorbed the bacon flavor. Again, I did not send it back.

In fact, when you enter the restaurant, the entire place wreaks of bacon. Having not put a piece of pork into my mouth since 2010, I have grown to really dislike the smell of bacon.

My advice to vegans: The smell of bacon fat alone may alter your appetite. If you do dine at First Watch, be sure to explain that vegan means NO CHEESE and absolutely NO BACON FAT cooked near your food.

Better yet, just go to a vegan restaurant! 🥦🍅🍆🥑🥕🥒🍠🍏🍊🍌🥝🥗🍉

Cons: Bacon smell permeates restaurant and food!

Great Vegan breakfast!

Love going to First Watch; always something for everyone in the party. My favorite go-to is the Chia pudding platter with almond nut butter slathered on that wonderful bread.
Juices are fine too! Always friendly and quick service.

Pros: choices for everyone; , frest ingreients, unusual items

Cons: not upen all day!

You can't go wrong!

Having been here thousands of times, I'm now so familiar with the menu that I usually go with one of the specials, but no matter what you choose you can't go wrong because everything is good. My favorite breakfast items that they always have though are their Meusli pancakes, and the Floridian French Toast(it has kiwi! my fav fruit!) :)

Pros: superb food, friendly staff, free coffe while waiting

Cons: very busy sundays
