Decent! Could offer more - Edit
Alehouse is a Livermore staple, and their vegan options get better each time! They offer Beyond patties for all burger combos but many sauces and toppings aren't vegan. I enjoyed the special of the day, a vegan red curry with roasted kabocha squash and forbidden rice, which was lovely! Another favorite is the Thai Beef Salad, minus the beef 😉

Creative Options! - Edit
I've been eating at the Ale House since before I was vegan and a bit intimated to be going as a vegan. As soon as I saw the menu I was extremely happy! They have one rotating "chef's special" vegan option and an Impossible Burger on the menu. Make sure you ask for vegan mayo, vegan cheese, and a vegan bun with the burger. The rotating option is always pretty creative and interesting!

Bao buns vs beyond burgers - Edit
I got the vegan jackfruit bao buns and they were not good. The jackfruit has a super strong and dry Smokey teriyaki flavor? My friends and I all didn’t like them. The vegan fried rice it comes with was okay but it was kind of cold. My other vegan friend just got a beyond burger and said it was good though so I’d go with that option!

Cons: Of the two vegan options, only one is good.

Rotating vegan option - Edit
The have a special menu that rotates every few weeks. They always have a vegan option. We've had vegan arepas, lasagna with Impossible crumbles and a southwestern bowl with Mac n Cheese with BBQ jackfruit, greens and biscuit.
