We went here in summer and had wonderful food and homemade icecream afterwards. The owner is super cool and cute. The space can be rented out also, if I remember correctly.

This place is a lot larger than I expected and has a nice terrace by the market. The staff is social and nice.
Read moreTheir menu is almost completely vegan, but I only tried their lemoncurd pie and a mixed juice. The pie was really sweet and quite heavy due to the cream and firm cake. I really enjoyed the juice though (and it balanced the sweetness of the pie).
What I found a bit disappointing is that one of the waiters called cow’s milk ‘normal’ milk al the time.

First Eet is a lovely place for a great plant-based breakfast or lunch. They had so many vegan options! The options that were not vegan, were vegetarian (they don't serve meat). I went with a group of 6, me being the only vegan one, but we all enjoyed the food. The drinks are also amazing!

This place is simply fantastic. The staff is super friendly, the interior and terrace is great, and the food is delicious. I loved my pancakes. And I want to come back soon to try all the other dishes on the menu.

I had high expectations coming here based on the raving reviews everywhere. And I do have to say I was not disappointed!! The coffee was delicious and creamy, with a vegan cookie. I had the lentil soup which was a flavour bomb - spicy, creamy, sweet, textures through toppings. I chose 1/2 of the BLT sandwich next to it and was pleasantly surprised. They clearly do not save on toppings and flavours, and it shows. The sweet potato salad was unexpected with apple and pickles, but was amazing in every way. To top it off, I later had a piece of their poppyseed lemon cake which was moist and packed with flavours.

The salad Buddha bowl was tasty but for a salad I missed a bit of leafy greens. It was tasty.
The menu usually stays the same. So wouldn't come again soon. As we enjoyed the dishes but wasn't that special to eat it again soon.

This place has a nice atmosphere and relaxed vibe, almost everything they serve is vegan (the few dairy offerings are marked), and it has outside seating during the more enjoyable months. There's also a little gift shop inside, and they make their own plant based ice cream in the summertime. One of those places that everyone likes, whether you're vegan or not. Highly recommended for breakfast or lunch.

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen (in tegenstelling tot sommige mensen die buiten moesten wachten, hadden wij gelukkig gereserveerd) en naar onze tafel gebracht. Het menu bestond op 2 gerechten na (met kaas) uit allerlei vegan gerechten. De keuze was lastig, maar uiteindelijk gekozen voor de Buddha bowl. Die smaakte goed, maar wel jammer dat die koud geserveerd werd. Lauwwarm was lekkerder geweest.

As most other vegan and vegetarian places were closed between the years, I went for First Eet with a friend! We were happy about the circumstances because we were positively surprised! First Eet offers a really cosy atmosphere, friendly staff, and tasty food! We tried the buddha bowl, warm banana bread with add-ons, and a piece of chocolate cake, and can recommend all of them. This is a great cafe near St Eusebius. The menu is primarily vegan, with the handful of vegetarian items clearly marked. There is a good range of savoury dishes and they've clearly put some thought into creating a varied menu. There are also some very tasty desserts and good drinks if you fancy something lighter.

Whenever I am here I always receive great service and food. They rotate their menu each season so there is something new to try. Great ambiance. Normally I can always find a place to sit but on days with sunny weather you should make a reservation because the place is packed.
