Great bakery with a few vegan options in the menu - Edit
I recently went to Firehouse Bakery and Cafe in Delgany, Co. Wicklow. This place combines a bakery and cafe in a central location near the Old Burial Ground, making it convenient for both locals and visitors.
Read moreThe environment is welcoming, with staff that are friendly and attentive. Despite its small size, the cafe offers a selection of vegan options. I had the Falafel and the Garlic and Seasalt flatbreads, and both were delicious. Do not forget to try the Vegan Lemon Drizzle cake, it's a must. They also accommodate vegan requests for their hot chocolate, using plant-based milk.
Their selection of bread, including sourdough and artisanal varieties, is notable and worth trying. While the vegan menu options are limited, the quality of the food served is commendable.
More vegan options would enhance the menu, but the existing offerings and the overall experience are positive.
