I didn’t try the 20 other coffee shops in town when visiting (seems like every other store in town is a coffee shop, but I’m not complaining) so can’t make any comparisons here, but I really dug the atmosphere here and the coffee was really good. They were sold out of vegan pastries by the time I got there (went around 2pm on a weekend). They also sell boozy drinks if you’re really looking to kick back.

One of the best coffee shops in town - Edit
From their housemade spicy Chai, to daily selection of homemade vegan pastries to the outstanding house coffee that has become a staple in Flag, this all vegetarian coffee shop has it all. They feature live music, poetry slams, vegan pastries and housemade vegan syrups, several alternative milks and an all veg menu with vegan options. The staff has been super friendly and helpful every time I've been in and I try to make it here every couple days. I've had caramel apple muffins, lemon loaf, bagels and banana breads for Daily vegan pastries. And they're open later on weekends!

Stopped in for an espresso before breakfast, and it was very high quality. Seemed like they had plenty of vegan milk options but I take my coffee black anyhow.

High quality coffee and a variety of nondairy milks. I ordered a cappuccino and it was recommended I get hemp milk bc it foams better than the other nondairy milks and it was so good! Totally will order this again.
