How to convince a carnivore to eat vegan...... - Edit
At saturday the 19th of December 2015, my boyfriend (who is definitely NOT a vegan) and I were looking for something to eat. He wanted a hamburger or something like that and we were heading for an other burgerjoint that served meat and vegan options. We were late, so the place was very crowded, and we decided to walk on as we were hungry and did not want to wait for people to leave.
A few streets up there was a place called Fiora, and they had some tables available.
It said 'snackbar', but we didn't get a real snackbarfeeling from the place, but as we were in the mood for food, we went in.
My non-vegan boyfriend ordered the smokey burger (he wanted a burger) and potato wedges with vegaioli, I ordered the same, but with vegaziki.
In a short time we got two really large burgers, and lots of delicious wedges and the accompanying vegaioli/vegaziki was heavenly!
My boyfriend murmured with his mouth full: "this is the way to convince non-vegans to become vegan!" (alas, he is still a meateater, but at least he's not anti-vegan restaurants any more).
After the burger we were quite full, but the cakes they had on display screamed 'eat me, eat me!' , so we stayed for a while (to make room for the cake) and ordered a coffee and two slices of cake. One was raspberry cheesecake, the other mandarin cream cake.
I can honestly say I have never overeaten this much (we were having troubles walking back to the hotel) and the next day we wanted to eat there again (the only two reasons we didn't was we'd eat too much again, and the walk back to the hotel would be torture again.... ;) ).
The food is heavenly, even for carnivores! You don't pay much (the whole meal cost us 37 euro's) but as it is so delicious, you might eat a bit too much...... ;)
Pros: Good value for money, Friendly staff, Heavenly food
