$ Mixed Bag $ - Edit
Takeout is frustrating bc their online menu is wildly incomplete + inaccurate + there’s no phone # to call. My partner went today around 1:15 + had to wait 20 min after ordering. We did get the tartine tho, which was “out of stock” online.
Read moreThe Fall Harvest Tartine is truly wonderful + iirc, the BLET is maaaaybe even better. Thrilling Bakon ftw! I regret the $8 side salad tho bc it’s basic af, like are you kidding me? Even if the croutons weren’t soggy when they got to me! (They were.)
Pros: good food, friendly, cute neighborhood vibe
Cons: overpriced, takeout is inconvenient, parking ain't easy

Great addition to the neighborhood - Edit
I’m not sure I would travel across town to eat here, and it’s not a great place to go with a group (have to order upfront, no large tables)—but it’s close to home, they’re vegan friendly (only vegan cheese and plant butter and no mammals or poultry so far), and the food is pretty good. It’s a great place for brunch with one or two other people. I really like their (new) chickpea frittata, biscuits and gravy, and veggie hash. My partner is a fan of the tartines and pancakes. We live close by so this will likely become a regular place for us.

Brunch game is ok - Edit
It fills a niche, which is a place that vegans and non vegans can both brunch at, but I'd go with Peloton or Pinoyshki next time. Just overall kind of disorganized, slow, and located in a place that's probably a difficult physical spot for a restaurant. I see other things I'd like to come back for, but my first impression was pretty rough for place that's pretty far out of the way, so it'll be a while.
Read morePhone was low battery so I went to the front to look at the menu. Menu at the front is scratched and hard to read in the area of the key, which is pretty important for vegans! Two different symbols mean vegan. Items that can be vegan (biscuits? breakfast sandwich for weekday?) seem to be not marked. It's up to you to notice what could likely be vegan.
I would likely have ordered the biscuits and gravy if I'd known they could be veg! No chickpea frittata (seen in other reviews as sub for the $6 of eggs in the dish) was suggested.
I see that another person ordered a Bloody Mary. If they have a vegan option, it’s not evident on the menu.
Coffee and biscuits were both delayed and between batches.
I had the summer tartine which is one piece of cold toast, no side, covered with mostly un-edited ingredients (Violife cheese, raw tomato), not cut into two, not possible to cut with a butter knife, and incredibly messy to eat by hand. This is the same size as the veggie toast at B-side and less interesting since I can buy Violife and tomatoes at the store. You'll definitely want to wash your hands afterwards but the one-stall bathroom is in high demand.
Tip auto suggestion starts at 20% and goes to 30% even though no one is checking on the table or actively refreshing coffee or water (coffee was brought over once we went over).

Oozing with Jam - Edit
I ate here for breakfast with some colleagues, I had the Summer Harvest Tartine and a Bloody Mary, both were delicious.
Read moreI also received a complimentary gluten-free jam cookie because the staff noticed my food wasn't coming out as fast as everyone else's. It was served warm with a very decedant amount of jam, it was very yummy! I hope my food is slow next time, too.
Pros: Gluten-free jam cookie, Lots of vegan options , Friendly atmosphere

Mostly vegan! - Edit
Wonderful little restaurant. We've been here twice for breakfast, and both times were amazing! Highly recommended the fall harvest tartine!

Many Vegan Options - Edit
We had the soup with Baguette, Biscuits with mushroom gravy (they substitute a chickpea frittata for the eggs it originally comes with) and a Cinnamon Roll. Everything tasted great, only wish there was a little more of the gravy to go with the huge biscuits. The drop was good, and had free refills and the Chai was pleasant.

Small menu, good quality - Edit
A few really solid vegan options, not great seating for big groups.

Great option to eat out with non-vegans - Edit
I was dining with two non-vegans for brunch and one of them ordered a vegan plate! We got the same thing (morel and peas) and they loved it as much as I did! The biscuit with v butter and jam was perfection. So many good vegan options. Will definitely go back here again when visiting Seattle!

Loved it - Edit
Solid biscuits and gravy here at Finch & Pine! They use mushroom gravy with actual fatty chunks of mushroom which I enjoyed. I definitely place their biscuits and gravy up there with the best in Seattle. Small space so not the best for big groups.

Cute little spot with fantastic food - Edit
I ordered some sides from them for thanksgiving and everything was incredible!
Read moreI was told by their chef that they do not use any meat or dairy in their foods. They do use local eggs but substituted the eggs for me for their biscuits and gravy.
Their wild mushroom gravy is incredible! Their vegan whipped cream is some of the best I ever had. I loved their nitro coffee with the vegan whipped cream, it was the perfect addition to brunch
Pros: Dairy free and delicious , The best mushroom gravy!, Every single thing I tried from there tasted great
Cons: They use eggs, but can substitute
