soyrizo is so yummy!! - Edit

My boyfriend and I went to try out their burritos today. We've been to Chipotle and Pancheros, so we wanted to compare them. The soyrizo was very good and I personally liked it better than chipotle's and Pancheros' tofu. All around good food and service- I will definitely be returning!

Pros: Soyrizo, Garden tortilla

Cons: No vegan cheese (but they're cool if you bring

The original is always the best - Edit

This is the original location of Fighting Burrito, and was a go-to for me in college. They cook the rizo to perfection at this location and always stuff the burritos bigger than you can possibly eat (though I always manage...somehow). Great location right on Welch in campustown.

Pros: Huge portions, Crispy rizo, Good location

Cons: A little small

Vegan-friendly/Tasty Soyrizo - Edit

I like their different tortilla options (white, wheat, garden, and tomato - all flour-based, I believe); same for the rice (white, wild).

None of the signature burritos on the menu are vegan-friendly, but there are plenty of vegan ingredients to fill a "build-your-own" burrito with, and they'll double the rice for no extra charge. All toppings are included in price except for guacamole and queso.

I was excited to try soyrizo (soy-based Mexican sausage alternative) for the first time, and I was not disappointed. They have to prepare the soyrizo to-order, so your order may take a few extra minutes. The soyrizo was very tasty and relatively spicy.

Decent portion sizes, decent pricing.

Pros: fresh ingredients , vegan protein option, fast service

Great Local Food - Edit

This place has it all. With several types of tortillas (my favorite is the tomato one), plenty of topping options for vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores, a great atmosphere, fast service, and reasonable prices. They have an amazing homemade corn salsa that's very spicy. Their rice is top-notch and they have a great mix of hot vegetables that can be added for no extra cost. A burrito here is enough to feed even the hungriest of people, so you may want to save some for later. Truly both quality and quantity here.

Pros: Quality, Vegan to Omnivore, Quantity

Cons: When too busy not perfectly clean, Long lines

Vegan Soyrizo option, open late, great service, good salsas. Kicks Chipotle's ass.

Tasty, pricey burrito - Edit

The Fighting Burrito has a lot of options for vegetarian and vegan burritos. You won't find any vegan cheeses or sour creams here, but the guacamole is vegan, as are the tortillas, grilled veggies and many other veggie fillings and salsas. I am not sure if the soyrizo is vegan or just vegetarian. If you don't get meat in your burrito you can get extra grilled veggies or guac for free.

Pros: Tons of hot sauce and salsa choices, Good guacamole, Locally owned

Cons: Price, Atmosphere, depending on time of day or
